Story
We rescued Onyx as a 2-month-old puppy from a Walmart parking lot. She and her siblings were being given away, and we felt pulled to her. She was born on 12/02/2024. She is a Goldador. Her mother was a registered Golden Retriever and the father was a Labrador. She is scheduled for a spay on 01/05/2026 and will be brought current on all shots at that time. She will not be available until after her spay. We have a profoundly autistic child and never anticipated there would be a species-specific allergy to Onyx for this child. Onyx has lived with a cat and another small dog. She is crate trained, learning to be leash trained, and rides well in a vehicle. She lives in a single-parent home with three children—I am trying to find a home for her that will love her to pieces—and help give her her best life. This has not been an easy choice, and I do feel embarrassed. She has a proper crate, manners & has been on Science Diet her entire time with me.

Story
💝HHR Hero is a dreamy Anatolian Shepherd mix who is extremely food / treat motivated and learning many things quickly. He already understands simple commands. Hero loves to give hugs. He is truly the sweetest boy who loves his feline and canine resident friends. When he’s feeling tired, he will go to an area he feels safe in to rest and doesn’t require you to be nearby. But he loves affection and pets. Loves time be brushed. He’s super smart, adorable… a real gentle giant. He will be a great addition to anyone looking for a big, sweet teddy bear 🧸

Story
Lando is a sweet boy with LOTS of energy! We took him in as he showed up at my grandparents house and they could not take care of him. When we first took him in, he was very scared of men. But after three months, he has grown out of that and is very loving and wants to say hello to everyone. He does have a bit of a destructive boredom streak, so he is kennel trained and happily goes in the kennel with no issues. Lando does take a bit to warm up to other dogs. But we have had no issues since the first day with him getting along with our two dogs. He also has done well with our young children so I think he would make a great addition to an active family! He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his shots, and a bag of his dog food, his bowl and the kennel we have will go with him. So he is ready to go to his forever home! His adoption fee will be donated to Rescue One in his name. We put an adoption fee to insure he goes to a good home!

Story
Nova is a female yellow lab/Australian cattle dog mix. She is about 15 months old, she is mostly black with a white patch on her chest, and is about 50 pounds. We are needing to re-home her. She is vaccinated with up to 1 year shots and is spaded. I will be very honest with you she has lots of energy. She is VERY loving, loves to play, jump, and fetch. She is incredibly loyal to those she loves. She chases predators and loves to please her owner and I think could be trained to do many things with someone who knew how to do it. She loves to play with other dogs and cuddles up at night with our other dog.

Story
Hazel is a good dog and she is great with kids! Our grandkids(age 1-3) climb all over her and she is so patient! Hazel is house and kennel trained. I classified her as a large dog but she is only 65lbs. She a sweet loving dog, it was amazing coming home to see her smile and wiggle her butt in happiness. She would be great dog for either a single person or a family but Hazel needs a home where she is the only pet(dog or cat) in the house. She cuddles and kennels with our smaller dog but does not get along with our other large female. She loves to play and does 360s and often gets the zoomies. She enjoys a walk and has become good at walking on a leash. She sleeps a lot, loves to look out the windows and enjoys a good sun beam. A fenced in backyard would be good for her but she is not an outside dog especially in the cold. She loves to follow you around and supervise whatever you’re doing. She comes with a kennel. She recently(June) had her one year checkup and vaccines.
