Story
Meet Ozzie — your new best friend! Ozzie was found abandoned on the side of the road and brought to the shelter. She’s now about 10 months old and ready for a loving home! Once she settles in (just a couple of days), her sweet and playful personality shines. She loves to snuggle on the couch or curl up next to you in bed. Ozzie has done great with men, women, kids, dogs, and even cats. She isn’t fully potty trained yet, but she’s kennel trained and has never had an accident in her crate, so with a bit of consistency she’ll catch on quickly. She’d love a yard to run in, a family who’ll give her time and love, and maybe even a creek to splash in — she’s a total water dog! Give this sweet girl a chance — she’ll make the perfect addition to your family. 💛

Story
Meet Pixie, a one-year-old sweetheart with a sprinkle of Staffordshire Terrier in her mix and a whole lot of love to give. She’s young, playful, and still learning the ropes of life, but being a “good girl” is already her specialty. Pixie is affectionate, loyal, and ready to be your biggest fan—whether you’re headed out for a walk, relaxing at home, or just in need of a little extra love. With her happy spirit and gentle heart, this sweet little gal is ready to make every day brighter for her forever family. ✨ All dogs adopted from the Aurora Dog pound will come with a spay/neuter certificate to be used locally that covers the cost. Pixie will also have her rabies vaccination, she has been wormed, her DAPPv, and she will be microchipped and registered to her new family member. https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AURO/Dog

Story
Meet Birdie: Sweet, Sassy, and a Little Bit Spicy Birdie is a 9-ish-year-old distinguished lady with a soft heart and a surprisingly loud opinion about fences. She’s the kind of dog who will snuggle on the couch, melt into your side, and make you feel like the most loved human on Earth — just don’t ask her to make friends through a chain-link. That’s not her love language. This gal is the perfect blend of sugar and spice. She’s loyal, protective, and affectionate, the kind of dog who’d absolutely alert you to a squirrel-sized intruder — but also wait by the window until you get home like you’re her entire world (because you will be). Birdie’s ideal life includes cozy indoor living, soft beds, kind humans, and zero drama at the fence line. She’s waiting for her person… maybe it's you? Complete an application to learn more. Story
Robin is an approx. 2 years old Heeler mix and weighs 47 lbs. She is cautious of those she doesn't know, but is an absolute Love once she knows you and decides your hers, which is a Heeler trait. You don't own a Heeler, they own You :) They are loyal to their person and love having jobs and activities to keep their very intelligent minds busy. Robin would probably do best with older kids. She is housetrained and is great with other dogs. She doesn't care for "in your face" dogs, but is tolerant of them. Cats are unknown. Robin will come with a rabies vaccination, spay certificate and a microchip.
