Story
The Survivor Litter - born brave, built for joy. Meet Bravery, Chance, Courage, Fighter, Grit, Hardy, Perseverance, Resolve, Soldier, Spirit, and Tenacity - a lively crew of heeler mix pups who have already shown the world what resilience looks like. With bright eyes, wagging tails, and hearts full of hope, they're ready to start their next chapter. These pups are thriving - safe, warm, vaccinated, and discovering that every day brings something new to love. They're a mix of sweetness, silliness, and steel spined charm, and they're looking for families who will celebrate the strength and spirit behind their names. If you've been waiting for a sign, this is it. Adopt a Survivor. Give them the joyful ending their story deserves. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2707940##

Story
Just like in the Trolls movies, these puppies are learning that the world can be bright, kind, and full of friendship. This group of pups haven't been around many people, so they are pretty scared and nervous right now. Some are starting to open up, while others are still finding their rhythm. The staff is working to teach them that the world (and people!) can be a safe and loving place. These pups will need adopters who understand that every Troll learns to sing their own song in their own time. With love, consistency, and a little faith, their true colors are sure to shine. The breed mix is a guess and somewhat of a mystery. They are expected to be medium size dogs when grown based on the adult dogs in the group - around 25-35 lbs. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Story
Hi I'm Mable! I came to the shelter with my 3 other siblings. Our mom was a Blue Heeler mix and our dad was a Cane Corso mix- so I'll likely be a medium sized girl but with the great personality mix of the two breeds! I'm a little shy as I haven't had much experience in this world but I'm sweet and willing to learn it with you! Give a sweet girl like me a chance and take me home.  If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment.
