Story
Bear was born 12/1/2023. First pic is him now . The other was when he was 8 weeks . I got him from a lovely lady who has bred dogs for at least 30 years now . He loves walks, bones, playing and lots of attention. He listens well and goes to the door and makes a point to dance around and gallop to try to get your attention. I let him outside with me , he stays around the area . He will wander if you aren't paying attention tho . He doesn't necessarily like baths but will endure it. Loves sitting on my lap a.d eating his bone . He has had his shots . I have a record of them but I don't have actual breeding papers . I am only home two hours an evening and gone most weekends . I rarely see him and vise versa. his dad is a cavalier Spaniard black white and grey and mom is a poodle. Will only get as big as he is right now I'm told . Weighs about 12 lbs . He has one blue eye and one brown , very unique. Loves fetching too.

Story
Laker is a black and white Great Dane/Hound mix and her estimated DOB is 12/30/2017. Laker (who also knows the names Mia or Gracie) was adopted from the Haven but returned two years later, not due to any fault of her own, but because her owners were unprepared to train a dog with resource insecurity. You see, Laker gets along with other dogs fairly well, but she really needs her own space away from other dogs in her home, as she's protective of food, toys, and her bed. She'd do best with a free feeder so she can learn that food is not a limited resource. Laker also did excellent with the kids in her previous home and hasn't had any reaction to cats at the shelter! Her ideal forever home will be able to work around her quirks and provide her with her own space, such as a kennel in a separate room, or ideally not have any other dogs! We at the Haven know that this affectionate, loyal girl is absolutely worth it!All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open from 9am-4pm, seven days a week. Story
Emmett is a handsome boy! His dob is 06/20/2017 and he's a brown and black Belgian Shepherd Malinois/American Bulldog mix. He was brought to us when his owners could no longer care for him. He has spent most of his life as a mostly-outdoor dog with other dogs, in a home where he suffered from a lot of separation anxiety. Unfortunately for Emmett, his people in the past have failed him. Emmett needs a person that's going to do right by him! He is motivated by affection and toys, but is very picky about his treats. He can be a little mischievous and likes to see what he can get away with, so he needs a firm leader who can spend a lot of time working with him. We have seen that he learns quickly with basic training. We think he could also learn by example with some well-mannered dog siblings. It has been observed that he rarely barks, and when he does it's quiet and sort of raspy. Emmett is often found observing things going on around him. He does not get along with cats, chickens, or other small animals, as he has a decent amount of prey drive. He loves to follow his favorite people around and get scratches, and his favorite game is wrestling. He does seem to be house-trained, and does fine for short periods of time in a large kennel. All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open form 9am-4pm, seven days a week.
