Story
🐾 Meet Brie 🐾 Young (under 2 years old) | Spayed Female | White Pit Bull Terrier Brie is a young, beautiful Pit Bull Terrier who is still very much a work in progress—and looking for the right person to help her shine. She came to us as a police intake after an incident where her lack of training led to accidental injuries to her owner. Brie is not aggressive, but she is jumpy and very mouthy, which tells us she simply hasn’t been taught appropriate boundaries yet. With structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement, Brie has a lot of potential to grow into a wonderful companion. At the shelter, Brie has been timid and scared, likely overwhelmed by everything she’s been through. Despite this, she has done well with other dogs so far, showing appropriate behavior in our controlled environment. Her interactions with cats and children are currently unknown. ✨ What Brie Needs An adopter committed to basic obedience training Someone experienced with strong, energetic dogs or willing to work with a trainer A calm, patient home that understands she’s still learning Consistency, structure, and clear expectations 💛 The Right Fit Brie would do best with an adopter who understands that training isn’t a setback—it’s an opportunity. She’s young, impressionable, and capable of learning with the right guidance. Watching her gain confidence and manners will be incredibly rewarding for the right person. If you’re looking for a dog you can grow with and help shape into her best self, Brie might be your girl. 📍 Interested in meeting Brie? Please submit an application and we’ll be in touch to discuss whether she may be a good fit for your home and lifestyle.

Story
Peanut is a neutered male, large mixed breed, around 1 year old with a BIG personality to match his size! This young guy is very playful, affectionate, and full of happy energy—the kind of dog who’s always ready to turn an ordinary day into a fun one. Peanut came to us as a stray after being found inside the Washington County Bank (yes… really! 😄). While his past is a bit of a mystery, it’s clear he’s a friendly, people-loving pup who enjoys attention and interaction. He will need proper introductions with other dogs and would do best with less dominant canine companions. Based on his temperament, we suspect he would do well with children, especially those who enjoy an active, playful dog. Peanut is still young and will benefit from continued training and guidance in his new home—but with his sweet nature and eagerness to engage, he has all the makings of an amazing family companion. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate pup with a one-of-a-kind backstory, Peanut might just be your perfect match! 🐾💙

Story
Pudge is a 2-year-old neutered male large mixed breed who came to the shelter as an owner surrender through no fault of his own. His previous family cared about him deeply but were unfortunately no longer able to provide for him financially. Pudge is a sweet boy who is ready for a fresh start with a loving family. According to his previous owners, he does well with other dogs when given a proper introduction. He has also lived with a cat in the home, so he may do well with feline friends. His experience with children is unknown, as he was not around kids in his previous household. At around two years old, Pudge still has a playful side and would benefit from continued structure, exercise, and positive reinforcement training as he settles into a new home. If you're looking for a loyal companion with lots of love to give, Pudge may be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
Meet Tina & Cobra – a wonderful bonded pair looking for their forever home together. Tina is a 5-year-old spayed female medium-sized mixed breed, and Cobra is a 5-year-old neutered male medium/large mixed breed. These two came to us as owner surrenders when their previous owner had to move quickly to get out of a difficult situation. Through it all, Tina and Cobra have stayed close and have clearly formed a strong bond with one another. Because of that bond, we are hoping to find a home willing to adopt them together so they can continue their journey side by side. Both Tina and Cobra have sweet, friendly personalities and enjoy being around people. They are reported to do well with children, and they can get along with other dogs and cats with proper introductions, making them a great fit for many types of households. These two would love a home where they can relax together, go for walks, and simply be part of the family. Having each other gives them comfort and confidence, and their connection is truly special to see. If you have room in your heart and home for two loyal companions instead of one, Tina and Cobra may be the perfect pair for you. Interested in meeting Tina & Cobra? Please submit an adoption application through our website and our team will be in touch to arrange a meet and greet. They’re ready to start their next chapter—together. 🐾
