My boy Finnegan (Finn) is my best boy , my roommate !! He is the sweetest boy ever ..He loves playing ball on the beach or in the yard .. I’ve been making his food for the past year ..He will bark at other dogs as a way of protecting whomever is holding the leash ..However he has never bit anyone or anything ..He is the best cuddler in the world ..I’m Moving to SE Asia and slow traveling in retirement as much as I’d love to take him and have thought rigorously I know the daily moving and traveling would crush him ..so it’s CRUSHING me to let him go 🥲

Story

Chloe will be 10 years old on June 12. I have had her since she was 6 weeks old. She’s my best friend but unfortunately I’m moving and unable to bring her with me. I have no one in my family or any friends that are able to keep her for me. She’s so cute and energetic, she loves to play, cuddle & belly rubs. Cars rides and the vet makes her anxious. She’s also not the best with children or other dogs/cat, they scare her. She also doesn’t think she’s a dog lol so that’s probably another reason she doesn’t really like animals. I’m looking for a sweet loving home for her. It’s going to break both of our hearts to be separated but I’ll find some peace knowing she will be well taken care of.

We got Sadie as a puppy from a breeder in NC with champion bloodlines. Since then we got married & now have two children, 6.5 & 4.5. Sadie will be 13 on 9/26. We love her but our schedules are not conducive to her needs now. She is in a crate while we are out & days are now too long. She has many lumps (a lot have been removed) but none are cancerous. She has recently (for the last year) had some incontinence issues. Not major. She drips minorly & requires pee pads at night. We are unsure if medication will work or not.She sleeps most of the day & only cries because she wants a blanket over her head. She has maybe an hour a day (usually around 5-6pm) that she is “active” but that just means she’s not sleeping. She still greets guests with a few jumps & kisses.She is an open bowl dog for food & water. Just grazes most of the day. No table food & is motivated by treats.She’s a great dog! Never chews anything. Only dislike is knowing when she is alone.Recent bloodwork was normal

This is Xylo... This older gentleman has been here in our shelter since July 2023, due to a housing issue. Xylo is 7+ years, and 66 lbs, he's a true shadow dog, wanting to be by your side & getting all the loving. This big guy knows sit, paw, and down. Xylo loves to please his person. He can be dog selective and is recommended to be the only pet. We are recommending he go to a home with no small children due to his strength and size.Update 4/27/24 Xylo had a suspicious growth removed last week, but thankfully the biopsy came back that it was benign (Not cancer)!
