Story
Ri has had such a tough time finding the right home. She was originally a rescue from Puerto Rico. She is shy meeting new people but warms up and then is a velcro dog. She does well with other dogs and cats, and while she walks nice on a leash would love a fenced yard to run in. She is crate trained and housetrained. She would do best in a quieter home with older or no children.

Story
Dennis is a young pretty boy with a slim, athletic build and a big heart. He’s been in foster care with kids, loves to run, play, and wrestle with other dogs, and would make the perfect companion for an active human. He’s playful, loyal, and has all the energy of a mini shepherd who dreams of being someone’s ride-or-die jogging partner. Cats? He’s okay with them... though fair warning: his energy might earn him a couple of slaps. Looking for a hiking buddy or workout motivator? Dennis is ready. Shelter staff informs: While we can't guarantee that this dog is 100% house trained, it is a very clean dog that spends days in a big outdoor run and nights in sleeping quarters. We also find no bedtime accidents in the morning. Dennis has not shown aggression toward any humans, of any age, at the shelter. As with any dog, we always recommend careful supervision and slow responsible introductions and interactions when children are involved.
