Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Ty is 6 year old feist mix, looking for a forever home. Ty is neutered, house trained, very sweet and eager to please. Ty has been diagnosed as a diabetic and does require insulin shots twice a day. He is otherwise in very good health and has no issues with taking his shots. (A short training session with Ty’s veterinarian can be scheduled at no cost if desired) Ty does suffer from separation anxiety and needs to be crated if he’s inside when you’re not around until he is very comfortable in his new home. Ty needs someone who can be patient and kind with his training - he does not do well with raised voices, sudden movements or negative reinforcement. Ty is used to living indoors. He is not an “active breed” and would not require excessive exercise. He currently gets 30-60 minutes of play/exercise a day in a large fenced in yard (weather permitting). He is leash trained, but prone to pulling and would need more training with it. He enjoys car rides very much.

Story
This is Rosie. She is a female German Shephard/Pit mix that is between 3 and 4 years old. I have had her for about 4 years now. She gets along great with adults and kittens, but not other female dogs and especially not small dogs of any kind. She loves to sit with her owner and cuddle and sleep in the bed at the foot at night without problem. She is not on a special diet and only eats one time a day regular dog food either dry or wet. She has been mainly an inside dog since I got her with normal outside time to use the restroom and go for walks. She is leash and harness trained. She will inform you if someone is on the property. I just cannot handle her anymore and I now have inherited another female dog Rosie does not get along with this dog at all, they have to be separated at all times due to fighting each other. She is very loving towards humans.

Story
Molly came to us about 4 years ago. At that time we think she was around 1 year old. She had been loose in our subdivision more than a week, I think someone put her out. No one was able to catch the dog and she showed up at our house early one morning. We gave her food and water and she decided to stay. Unable to find her a home we kept her instead of taking to animal control. She has a lot of anxiety and did not get along well with my smaller rescue at first. She showed signs of aggression. The two dogs get along together now. She is very reactive when she sees another animal or person. Her anxiety kicks in and she wants to chase them. She has pulled me down walking her and the last time she dislocated my shoulder. I have grown to love Molly but I will soon turn 70 and I am not getting any younger. I cannot exercise her the way she needs to be. I would love to find her a home with property so she could run. She really is a sweet dog and has helped me so much since my husband died.

Story
As much as it breaks our hearts to do this, we are looking for a new home for our Border Collie, Daisy. She is 5 years old and about 35 lbs. Daisy is high energy, very smart, SUPER sweet and affectionate, and doesn’t know a stranger. She is very attentive and has been our little shadow since she was 6 weeks old. She absolutely loves to be outside and could play fetch for hours on end if we had the time. She is also a great trail running dog! I never would have anticipated rehoming a pet, but now with having two toddlers and our busy work schedules, we are just not able to devote the time to her that she deserves. We would love for her to go to a farm, loving home with ample yard space for her to play, or someone who would like to bring her out and about regularly.

Story
ROKY is a pre breed Siberian Husky male in Copper/ White. Roky was a puppy when we first adopted him and has grown into a very handsome Adult, currently @ 1 1/2 years old. Roky has also been raised with (4) other Huskys at home and been living as an indoor & outdoor dog. Roky has also been an incredible Father to (2) litters of Huskys with our 2 female Siberian Huskys, and has shown to be a great dog around children and other people. Roky is not timid in any way, he is a strong male and confident in nature. Roky would make a great family dog and companion to another female dog at home. Because of Roky’s strong nature and healthy male attitude, as he has matured into an adult we have had several bad clashes/ dog fights break out between our older Alpha Male Husky and himself. It has gotten worse over time and Roky has been hurt a few times and we cannot continue to have this situation at home, and Roky deserves to be free of this situation and not clash with another male at home.

Story
Max was surrendered by his owners when a change in their living arrangements occurred. Max will be 3 on June 20th and is getting neutered on June 9th when he will be ready for adoption applications. A fun loving guy, that make you giggle with his silly antics! He stretches like a ballerina and has a high stepping gait like a little pony and is so endearing and cute, it’s hard not to have a smile on your face when you’re around him! He loves to be cuddled and will spoon you in bed, but he’s also crate trained if you prefer not to have a bed buddy! Through no fault of his own, Max did not get any training (tho he does walk well on a leash) and could benefit from some obedience. Since Max is 3 yrs old and not neutered he does display some marking tendencies, however the lack of testosterone once neutered should dispel this behavior over time and currently indoors he wears a belly band, which he will go home with…..but he is good about letting you know he needs to go out and we are actively working on this… It’s s not his fault he was not shown direction or boundaries…..he is protective of his favorite toys and does not want to give them up, for this reason we prefer a home without children. A smart little fella just looking for someone with patience to continue working with him, loving on him and bringing out his true potential…..he loves BIG for such a small boy! Up to date on shots, rides well in the car….just wants to hang with his person…..text today to arrange a meet and greet, vet references and home visit apply. 828-699-9372
