Story
Disney is an awesome dog. She's loving, caring, and sweet. She loves walks and her toys and to fetch. Disney weighs 47 pounds. She's current on her shots. I adopted Disney 6 years ago from the Asheville humane society. She was 1yr old at the time. Disney is an inside dog. Shes potty trained. And has never spent the night outside. The reason I'm having to Rehome Disney is because I have a busy schedule.

Story
My name is Banjo! I was born in the middle of May, but my foster mom says that I am an old soul because I act so much older than I really am. I am so well behaved that I am allowed to stay loose in the house with the grown-up dogs instead of being crated when my foster mom leaves. I sleep a lot but I am always ready to play when my foster or one of the dogs in my foster home wants to play. Otherwise I am happy to play quietly on my dog bed with my chew toys. I really like my stuffed toys and I’ve never chewed one up like some dogs do. In fact, one day I found a piece of a paper towel on the floor and I just carried it around in my mouth instead of shredding it or trying to eat it. I rarely bark and I am crate trained. I have the webbed toes of a retriever which would make me a good swimmer . I have a happy, calm, easy going personality and a submissive temperament. I greet everyone at the door with a wagging tail. I am curious about new things. I don't jump on people or beg for food. I already know "back" when anyone goes out of the door. I am learning to go outside to potty. I have grown up with someone in a wheelchair and I have learned not to get under foot. I am a well behaved boy waiting to make someone a great friend and wonderful companion! I have several new videos on the rescue website Carolinacaninerescuenc.com. I have had my third puppy shot and have been dewormed. I will see a veterinarian before going to my new forever home. I am ready and eager to go home to my new family! There is another video of me on the rescue website. Email is the best method of contact. Story
My name is Ringo! I am 5 years old and I weigh 15 lbs. I am fostered in Mount Airy, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I was found as a stray and turned into a local county animal shelter. I'm not really sure why because I am so affectionate - I love being petted and loved on! I follow my foster around the house and I'm happy to just hang out until time to go to another room. I'm currently sleeping in a crate at night but would much rather be sleeping in someone's bed. I'm not a big barker unless you leave me outside by myself-I'm fine if you leave me by myself in the house though. I do not chew on anything. I walk on a leash, ride well in the car, and I'm house trained if you take me out regularly. I have a medium to low energy range. I am good with kids and other dogs, but I'm not sure about cats. The rescue doesn't have any. I am a wonderful little companion and I am eagerly waiting to go to my forever home! Email is the best method of contact. Applications can be found on the rescue website carolinacaninerescuenc.com

Story
My name is Dottie! I am 1 to 2 years old and I weigh approximately 10 to 11 lbs. I am very loving once I get to know you and love to be petted and held. I love snuggling up with my fosters in bed at night. I will walk on a leash and I ride well in the car. I don't bark very often. When my fosters come home I get excited and greet them with a wagging tail. I get along with small dogs as long as they are calm. I am a very calm girl with a submissive temperament. I am spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on my dhpp and rabies vaccines. I was turned into the rescue because my owner could no longer take care of me. I am fostered in Danbury, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. Email is the best method of contact. Story
I originally adopted Bodhi from Brother Wolf shelter in Asheville. He will be 5 years old in November. Bodhi is laid back and sweet. He likes snuggling on the couch and loves belly rubs and butt scratches. Loves treats and is food motivated. He likes long walks/hikes where he can sniff a lot. He enjoys car rides and going to the dog park. He has always been friendly with dogs and people at the dog park, but he is protective of his crate and space and can be nervous when meeting new people at home. Bodhi is crate trained and sleeps in his crate. He is not a fan of big trucks or delivery trucks and will lunge and bark at them. He is trained with an e-collar. Do to financial challenges and needing to relocate I am choosing to find Bodhi a new home. I am hoping to find an owner that has the time to spend with him. He has some quirks but is an incredibly sweet and loving dog.
