Story
Hi I'm Calla, I'm 9yrs old young! I'm a sweet happy girl. I love people especially kids....kids always smell like snackies and they give me the best hugs! I like to just sit in the yard and people watch, I know I'm not supposed to be near the road so I just pick a spot to sunbathe or shade to chill. Walks/hikes are the best, also swimming in a lake is fun too. Id like my home to have a big yard so I can sniff and explore. I know how to use a doggie door so I can let myself out, but I also know when to let my parents know I need out if I don't have doggo door. I come from a good home, we just moved and I no longer have the space and my parents are always traveling for work, so I don't get much playtime or snuggles these days. I would like for my new home to have the yard for me to play, and of course for my new parents to love and care for me. I am a good girl.

Story
This dog is a rescue so I don't know her whole story. She's a sweet dog, but needs to be in a home with no small animals. She has a strong prey instinct and will go after cats, chickens, etc.

Story
This funny girl is looking for a forever human. She was found over a month ago in Greensboro, and we cannot locate anyone claiming her. She recently had pups, and her milk was drying up when found. I hope someone didn't use her just to make $ selling cute pups only to abandon her. She's very young herself, and quite small for a husky, maybe 40 lbs. She's a good girl, wants to be around humans. She's not a lay-in-the-yard kinda girl. Be forewarned 😉, because she's quite smart, she'll need a dog-savvy person or family. Going for spay, vaccines, and chip this Wednesday, and be ready for meet and greets. 😁

Story
From Legacy's foster caregiver: "If you're looking for your new cuddle buddy, then Legacy is the dog for you! From the minute he left the shelter, he has been nothing but sweet and loving. He is an older guy, so he won't be your exercise partner but he makes a great nap partner! Since he spent so long in the shelter, he is having to relearn some younger dog things but he is a quick learner and wants to please. He loves to eat and snack on treats. He takes medications well so you will have no problems giving him any if needed. We don't know this guy's backstory but his body tells a tale of hardship. Despite all of this, he is a very loving dog who will be your best friend. He is quiet and does well in his crate. He gets along well with cats and dogs (as long as you keep food and toys separate). He does well getting a bath too! He isn't a fan of the dryer, but who can blame him? He deserves the most loving retirement home to live out the rest of his days. " If you are interested in meeting Legacy, please contact Kendelle Federico at 336-266-4138 via text message or email kfederico@guilfordcountync.gov.
