Story
Introducing Maggie, a beautiful terrier mix looking for her forever home. Although she is estimated to be only slightly over a year old this sweet girl is full of joy. She loves to play, get lots of attention and is always happy. She does have quite a bit of energy so an active family and/ or a fenced in yard is preferred. She does well with other dogs, particularly energetic ones looking for a playmate, but needs to be in a home without cats as they can be a little too tempting to harass. She is currently strong on leash but our foster is working on her training, the world has so much to offer she gets super excited. She is housebroken and crate trained and ready for a loving family to call her own! If a shorter stature bundle of fun is what you are looking for in a dog, look no further! Visit us at reddogfarm.com and fill out an application.

Story
Shelby marches to the beat of her own drum or rather the band of her people. She LOVES her humans. When we say "loves", we mean hopelessly devoted and wants to be wherever you are. She almost addicted to her people. Her foster mom is working with her, so she understands that Shelby doesn't have to be with her constantly. This girl does enjoy being with another dog. However, she prefers males and can be a bit bossy with them. Her doggie brother doesn't mind being her emotional support boyfriend while letting her be in charge too. Shelby can NOT be with cats. She is true to her hound nature in that she likes to chase them. The girl has some vocals too but in a true lovable hound way. Shelby's perfect home would be one where she is with her people (almost at all times), has a brother to pal around with and doesn't have to worry about kids or cats. She is a great older gal who is ready for a comfy couch, her routine, her people, and all that a life of rural luxury has to offer.

Story
What were you doing on Mother's Day this year? Here at Red Dog Farm, we were surprised with the earlier than expected arrival of 6 healthy labradoodle puppies. Hershey was surrendered to us 59 days pregnant, heartworm positive and confused as to why she was no longer with her family. To everyone's surprise she started giving birth the night she came into the program! Thanks to a vigilant foster mom, despite a complicated delivery (ending in a C section), Hershey made it through, raised her babies and now needs a happy ending of her own. This sweet and gentle soul has had a lot of changes in the last 3 months and deserves to settle into the home of her dreams. While she takes a little patience to settle into the routine at a new home (she gets very reserved with large changes), she truly is man's best friend. She loves nothing more than to stick with her person and have the stability of a consistent loving home. If you can provide that for her you will find no better companion. She is now up to date on vaccinations, spayed and has begun heartworm treatment. If you would like to give a forever home to one of the most deserving mamas ever visit us at reddogfarm.com and fill out an application.

Story
If you are looking for an energetic companion to share all of your adventures with, look no further! This is Donald, born May 9, and this sweet little pup is looking for his forever home along with his brother, Mickey. These boys are Jack Russell Terrier mixes and are full of ENERGY and fun! They are currently at one of our amazing foster homes learning some manners and working on housebreaking. While they are true mutts (father's breeds unknown) we do know that mom is a JRT mix, and they are true to form behaviorally for JRT puppies. Preferred homes for these little guys understand JRTs and are looking for energetic dogs ready for physical and mental stimulation. They would make exceptional sports dogs. They love to explore, play and learn and will make excellent companions for the right families. Donald is the more outgoing of the two and has no hesitation about anything. He loves to be around new situations and new people. They will need families, and dog siblings, that are comfortable with a little bit of controlled chaos from one of these fun-loving puppies as they learn the routine of their new homes. If interested in spicing up your life with a lot of joy in a little package visit us at reddogfarm.com and fill out an application.

Story
Animals come into rescue for a number of reasons. Finley came to us when his elderly parents could no longer care for him. While he was loved, he was desperately in need of some catching up on veterinary care. He was still intact (a former sire for breeding), behind on his vaccinations and needing extensive dental work done. He has now been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, had a dental cleaning and by the end of this week he will no longer be in pain due to extreme dental issues! Despite all that has been done to him since his arrival, this boy is just a dream to spend time with. He LOVES attention, does great with other dogs, is learning to play with toys and is constantly trying to be a good boy. He is housebroken and behaves himself beautifully in the home when the foster isn't there. If you are interested in this stellar 18 lbs. senior boy visit us at reddogfarm.com and fill out an application, you won't regret inviting this amazing dog into your family.
