His name is Bobby, He is a 2 years and 6 months old AM Staffordshire terrier. He loves long walks and He has never eaten human food. He has a bit of Anxiety attachment and he is very loving. He doesn't have much experience with small children so he may be a little confused at first. He loves playing with other dogs, the more the merrier. He likes to wear sweaters when it's cold outside and enjoys sleeping under the covers. I adopted Bobby at the Charleston Animal Society, I'm looking for a home that has another dog or two for him to interact with, a loving family, a family that isn't always at work so someone is always with him. Bobby is goofy, child like and intelligent. He's a great dog. I just can't give him the attention he deserves.

He was adopted by my neighbor who unfortunately had a stroke two weeks later and has since moved to assisted living. I am currently caring for him, but as a senior citizen, I feel Draco needs more play and would thrive in a home where he can be more active.Draco is:• House trained• Quiet, cuddly, and well-behaved indoors• Friendly with dogs his own size• A fan of rolling around in the grassDraco came from a home with two siblings and does not enjoy being alone. He would be a positive addition to the right home, especially one with another dog for him to play with. Please note that while he enjoys larger dogs, he does not enjoy being around little dogs.💰 Rehoming fee: $100

Meet Draco! He is "ruff"ly 6 years old, approx. 48 lbs., all brindle love bug and socilalizes well with other dogs. Unfortunately, my aunt got him from the Humane Society recently and a couple months later (May 2026) she had a stroke. She is on a very long road to recovery; her neighbor has him (Clemmons, NC), but is not able to keep him. If anyone is interested in helping this guy out, please give me a call. Mila’s story is one of resilience, love, and second chances. At just around 2 years old, Mila was rescued from beneath a mobile home with her 11 puppies when they were only three days old. At the time, Mila had little experience with people and had never truly known what it felt like to be loved. Severely underweight at only 35 pounds, she had spent her life simply surviving. Today, Mila is thriving and healthy at over 100 lbs and has blossomed into an incredible companion. One of the sweetest things about Mila is watching her discover how wonderful affection can be. She now comes over asking for ear rubs, loves hugs and kisses, and happily settles at your feet while you watch TV. She adores having a soft, cozy bed to curl up in at the end of the day. Mila is a playful, goofy girl who has learned that toys are fun and that life can be enjoyable. She loves playing with other dogs and has integrated beautifully with her foster’s German Shepherd. While she enjoys canine companionship, she would also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only best friend. She’s house-trained, trustworthy when left alone, loves car rides, enjoys treats, and is always ready for an adventure. Mila is gentle, docile, and has never shown aggression toward other animals. She even ignores rabbits running through the yard! She has been around cats in the past, but her current foster does not have cats, so a proper introduction would be recommended. Mila is still learning some of the basics—she hasn’t quite figured out the whole “sit” command yet—but she is making progress every day. What she lacks in obedience skills, she more than makes up for with her loving heart and eagerness to please. Mila’s ideal home is simply one filled with patience, kindness, and love. Give her a little time to settle in, and she’ll reward you with unwavering loyalty, companionship, and plenty of smiles. Meet Esther — From Surviving the Streets to Searching for Home Esther or as her Foster calls her, Essie, was found as a stray alongside her assumed brother, roaming in the summer heat—dehydrated, hungry, and desperately in need of help. We later learned that the pair had reportedly been seen abandoned around a local store for a couple of months, somehow surviving on their own. Despite everything she has been through, Essie is incredibly friendly, social, and full of love. We believe she may have once been part of a family because she is potty trained and clearly comfortable around people. She gets along great with other dogs and absolutely loves to play! Barks and chases cats so needs to be adopted by a cat free family. Essie is still a puppy herself, so she’ll need a family committed to providing a consistent schedule, continued training, and plenty of love. She’s currently working on keeping all four paws on the ground when greeting people—but she just gets so excited because she loves people and wants to shower everyone with affection! Essie is around 36 pounds, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. We don’t expect her to get much larger, though she may fill out a little as she continues gaining some much-needed healthy weight. She has a sleek blue coat and gorgeous blue eyes. After a few hours of playing, though, Fred is more than ready to curl up for a good nap—and yes, he snores! Fred is also a total lap dog at heart. He loves nothing more than climbing into your lap and soaking up all the love and attention he can get. He’s completely potty trained, walks well on a leash, and rides great in the car, making him a wonderful companion for adventures or just relaxing at home. We do need to mention that Fred has a little bit of a Houdini streak! He’s a talented climber, so he’ll need a safe and secure setup to keep him from heading out on an adventure of his own. Crate training may also be helpful when needed to keep this curious boy safe.
