Story
If your dream dog is a distinguished gentleman with a heart of gold and a penchant for knitwear, meet Ceasar. This super sweet senior is fully house-trained, impeccably mannered, and has officially mastered the art of being a good boy. Ceasar is a big fan of cozy vibes. In fact, he absolutely loves wearing sweaters! He finds them comforting and stylish, though he has one firm fashion rule: no feet, please. He prefers the classic vest or pullover style that lets his paws stay free. If you have a collection of doggy cardigans, he is ready to be your top model. Like many of us as we age, Ceasar has a unique rhythm. Because he experiences some "sundowning" (evening confusion), his days have a bit of a flow to them. Most of the time, he is his happy, easy-going self, napping under a blanket and wagging his tail at the sight of his favorite people. On his infrequent not so good days, he’s a bit more sleepy and moves at a slower pace, content to just be near you. Every once in a while, the evening confusion hits a little harder, and he may pace or feel a bit lost. These days don't happen often, and with a gentle touch or a nightlight, he usually settles back into his routine. Despite the occasional foggy day/nights, Ceasar is a low-maintenance, high-reward companion. He won't chew your shoes or jump on your guests; he just wants to sit by your feet in his favorite sweater and enjoy the quiet life. He loves riding in the car and doesn’t care where you’re traveling, as long as he’s with you. To help Ceasar feel his best, he has a few specific retirement requests for his forever home: Adult-Only Household: Ceasar thrives in a predictable environment. A calm, adult-only home where he can relax without the hustle and bustle of children is exactly what he needs. Single-Level Living: His legs aren't as young as they used to be so Ceasar is looking for a home with little to no stairs to climb, so he can navigate his space safely and comfortably. Peace and Quiet: A low-traffic, quiet home helps minimize his evening restlessness and keeps him feeling secure. He is looking for a patient soul who understands that perfection is found in the quiet moments. A home with a steady routine and a drawer full of footless sweaters would be his absolute heaven.
