However, despite his initial rough start in life, this super sweet boy was able to spend some time out in foster care for our annual Home for the Holidays event!! We learned that he enjoyed running up and down the fence with the neighbor dogs, is housebroken, potty-trained, and a puppy at heart that would be thrilled to have a person to love and a bone to chew! He has displayed his naturally gentle and affectionate nature while at the shelter. Four Loko is the kind of dog who lights up the moment someone pays attention to him. He loves treats, adores being close to his people, and will gladly melt into your lap if you let him.Sweet, charming, and eager for connection, Four Loko is ready to bring joy, cuddles, and enthusiasm to the family lucky enough to take him home.Four Loko was treated for heartworm disease. He will need to have restricted until about early February (leash walk only, no running, etc.) He will also need to go home with medication and 1 year supply of heartworm preventative that will be purchased at the time of adoption.Four Loko was able to spend time out in foster care for our annual Home for the Holidays program and we learned that he has a medium energy level, is great with young kids, and loves to play! He may be a bit large for smaller kids and he does get a little too eager to chase kitties and small animals, but he is a sweet, laid back, and smart boy who is housebroken, crate trained, and just so loving!!Stop by and meet him today!!
