Story

Raven is a beautiful big cuddle bug with huge puppy energy. Unknown if purebred. She has a lot of anxiety due to her coming from a puppy mill situation, but she is physically healthy besides her anxiety. She is 4 years old, and weighs about 68 pounds. Raven rarely has any accidents in the house at all, and is good with other big dogs and older kids. I say older kids because Raven is very energetic and can play rough, or knock small children over. She is also spayed and utd on shots. Raven needs a lot of room to run, with not many neighbors around. She gets anxious and will bark if she sees people too close to her house. She could use some basic obedience refresher courses. But she really is a very sweet and fun friend to have. I was diagnosed recently with two terminal illnesses, and being disabled im unable to keep up with poor Raven and give her the exercise and play that she deserves. Shes a good baby! I pray every night now that someone will help my girl. Thank you

Maverick is the sweetest, softest cuddlebug who loves to greet you with full-body wiggles and his helicopter tail wags every time! He is a 1 year old German Shepherd/Pit mix we think, but also could have some Mountain Curr in him. We adopted him in April from the Charleston Animal Shelter, where he was a stray before that. While Maverick is seriously the sweetest, most loyal companion, he is high energy and has a few resource guarding tendencies with balls and bones that concern us as we are expecting to grow our family. We believe he would do much better in a home without young children and with someone that has the time to give to him! He would do great in a family with older teenage kids. He is cuddly, extremely smart, potty-trained, loves to play, crate-trained, walks great on a leash, sometimes lazy and doesn't leave your side! He loves the vet, car rides, and cuddling in your bed! This cutie loves to play but he can be a bit rough and doesn't know his own size, so he may do best in a home with older children! Riley is also known to be a snuggle bug, who wouldn't mind snuggling up in bed with you! According to his previous family, Riley has done well with other large dogs, but does not do well with cats and should not go to a home with cats. Riley's favorite toys are big Jolley balls, tennis balls, tug-o-war and he loves his chew toys! If you are interested in a pup that is sure to keep you on your toes, then look no further!
