Story
Niko is a playful, lovable boy who enjoys staying active and being close to his people. He loves a good game of fetch and will happily follow you around once he starts to feel comfortable. His previous family described him as gentle, friendly, and playful—and that sweet personality is still very much there.Niko has done well with other dogs and has shown friendly, playful behaviors at the shelter. He has a higher-energy play style, so he may do best with a dog who enjoys an active playmate. He would love the chance to meet any potential canine companions to make sure it’s a great match. When meeting new people, Niko can take a little time to warm up and appreciates a calm, gentle approach. Once he starts to feel safe, he becomes a loyal little shadow who enjoys being near his people and joining in on the fun. He would likely feel most comfortable in a home with older teenagers or adults, and he’ll benefit from a family who can go at his pace and help him continue building confidence. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who will blossom with a little patience and a lot of love, Niko might be your perfect match!

Story
Booth is a fun-loving, energetic pup who is ready to start his next chapter in a loving home. He came to us through our cruelty department alongside another dog and puppies, and while we don’t know much about his past, we do know he has a bright, playful spirit and so much love to give.Booth absolutely loves to run and play, especially when squeaky toys are involved! He has shown friendly and tolerant behavior when meeting another dog at the shelter, and his playful energy really shines through. Because he can be enthusiastic in his play style, we recommend a doogy meet and greet to make sure it’s a great match. He’s been friendly and affectionate with staff, enjoying pets and attention on his terms. Booth appreciates having his boundaries respected and will thrive in a home that understands when he needs a little space. He may do well with children who can recognize and respect those boundaries. If you’re looking for an active, playful companion who will keep you smiling and join you for all of life’s adventures, Booth might be your perfect match!

Story
Meet Sienna!Sienna is a sweet, sensitive girl with a lot of love (and a little sass) to share! She met another dog during her assessment and, while a bit nervous at first, was able to interact politely. In her previous home, Sienna showed some resource guarding around food and toys with other animals, using behaviors like growling or head whipping. This can be manageable with structure, but any home with another dog should be prepared to supervise interactions around shared resources. She`d love to meet any new friends to make sure we start off on the right paw! While we don’t have direct history with children, her previous owner noted she can be nervous around loud noises and fast movements, sometimes cowering or moving away when overwhelmed. Despite her sensitive side, Sienna’s personality shines bright—she’s a talkative girl who loves car rides, enjoys treats, and already knows a few commands! She’s also bonded with her feline friend PJ, and they’re looking for a home together. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart and a little bit of personality, Sienna might just be your girl!Sienna is currently being treated for heartworm disease. She will need to have restricted activity for the next 8 weeks (leash walk only, no running, etc.) She will also need to go home with medication and 1 year supply of heartworm preventative that will be purchased at the time of adoption.

Story
Meet Chesterfield & Blossom!Chesterfield and Blossom are a sweet, sensitive pair looking for a patient home where they can continue learning that the world is a safe and loving place. They came to the shelter through difficult circumstances and are still adjusting to all the new sights, sounds, and experiences around them. While they may be shy at first, both dogs have already started making meaningful progress and are slowly building confidence each day.The two take comfort in one another and are required to go home together where they can continue to blossom side by side. Blossom previously lived with other dogs and has done well meeting dogs at the shelter, while Chesterfield also has a history of living among many dogs. They may do well with calm canine companions following slow, thoughtful introductions.Because of their sensitive natures, Chesterfield and Blossom would thrive in a quieter, low-traffic home with adopters who understand that trust takes time. They may do best with older, dog-savvy teenagers who can respect their space and allow them to settle in gently. New environments and everyday noises can still feel overwhelming, so they’ll need patient adopters who can help them navigate the world at their own pace using positive reinforcement and encouragement. Both dogs will benefit from continued socialization, reward-based training, and secure outdoor supervision while they gain confidence. They may initially observe from a distance or approach cautiously, but with consistency, compassion, and understanding, Chesterfield and Blossom have the potential to become deeply loyal, loving companions.
