Bullseye and his crew of 8 other dogs are looking for a foster home to help them get that soft landing for some TLC before hitting the forever spot to call home. Each dog will need a place separate from one another for their best interest moving forward- we have secured into the rescue, Rosey, Tonka, Jasper, Afroditi, Buddy, Zeus, and would love to save all of the family! Bullseye is approximately 1 year old, 50-60 lbs, and only guessed to be a Golden mix based on his dad, Tonka. Bullseye will need vetting, groomed, neutered, and some basics before being fully adoptable- if you would like to be the place to help this sweet guy earn his deserved chance at help- apply below. All foster homes have first choice in adoption! Bullseye does use a crate, has never been on leash, and is housebroken. He is great with everyone, cats, and may be a little shy at first but wants nothing more than love. He will require proper intros to any other dogs. Looking to rehome our almost 8 year old German shepherd. She is good with our kids and is our only pet. Gets along with other dogs and goes on play dates with friends with dogs. Not a big fan of cats. Loves to play fetch. We are busy with life and two young kids, we love our dog very much but haven’t been able to be home as much. As our dog is getting older she needs to be home with someone more and we want her to have good care. She had both ccl surgeries on her back legs when she was four due to slipping on our deck when it was rainy. she does great and has no issues with her hips or knees, the doctor did a great job with her ccl surgeries. If she is extremely active sometimes she likes to lay down more as she has gotten older. Iris loves dog treats and knows commands of sit and lay down. She has always been in a fenced in yard. We want her to go to a loving home.

Angel is a 1 year 2 month old Boxer/Great Pyrenees mix weighing 66 pounds. She came to the shelter as an owner surrender with her sister after an accidental pregnancy. Angel is a sweet and gentle girl with lots of love to give. She is looking for a home with lots of time, love and experience. She is nervous and shy with new people, places and life in general. Angel is unsure of strangers and needs help building trust and confidence. Once you've earned her trust you'll have a new shadow. We do believe she has separation anxiety. She'll happily crawl into your lap (does not know her own size), or sit behind you in the chair, circle around your legs and between your feet. She loves her chew toys, balls and ropes. Treat motivated and a quick learner. Working on learning how to walk on a leash as she had never been on one before coming to the shelter. She is accustomed to a fenced in yard being allowed on the furniture. Not housebroken. Fearful of car rides and thunder. Her adoption fee is $150, this includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. Her dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00 (includes $1.00 service charge).Please visit the shelter to meet her, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm.
