Story
Look at this handsome boy💙 Trapper 💙 4 years old, Pyrenees mix, 108 lbs…..loves dog and could use a playmate. Older children best due to his size. Shy and friendly, happy dog. This big guy needs a home with a women that can spend time showing him love, he has had a heavy hand laid on him before and he doesn't trust men.He is very affectionate with women. Apply at www.hopeshavenfriends.org Notes from his foster: He has came a long way since we’ve had him. He has some self confidence issues, but he is slowly buy surely working on them! Shy at first, but will warm up. He is pretty scared of men, but my oldest son has slowly worked with him, and Trapper is learning to trust him. Its been a slow progress but he is getting there. (Which is so heartwarming to see!) He knows most basic commands, and he rarely barks. He’s great on a leash (loves walks!) Great with other dogs, just needs a proper introduction. Waits to take treats until you say “here” Trapper has so much potential but he still needs some confidence! Originally I was left as an outside dog and then turned into the shelter. He now needs someone to love and care for him in his own forever home by at www.Hopeshavenfriends.org

Rocy is a very sweet girl. She loves other dogs and people. She came to us from a family that couldn’t get her what she needs. This breed is active and she needs more excersize. We haven’t had a cat test done yet, she would make a great addition to an active home! Please research the breed before applying.

Story
Please Share!!! Mr. Ned!! 🧡 2yr old, 15lbs, neutered, UTD on shots, chipped, possible Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. From the mean streets of San Bernardino, CA. this streetwise stray is working daily to trust humans. As he's spent the majority of his life free & living outside--this is not an apartment or kennel dog. He MUST have a yard! Ned is good with car rides & bathes. He takes treats softly and loves his older foster sister. Ned has made huge strides with coming when called, meeting many other dogs, learning how to play with humans and using a doggy door. However, he is still leery of humans till he is comfortable. Young children are ill-advised. Months, possibly a year, of patience will increase the bond that Ned can form with you, but he's not a push and play pet at this time. He's recently learned to load up in the car, he swims and he dances with excitement when I come home from work. If you want to save a great young pup, feel no need to pressure him to accept you and you have another dog (he likes the older gals) and a yard...please fill out an application at www.hopeshavenfriends.org Thank you everyone for adopting and not shopping!

Story
To see Milo’s full story, visit out Instagram. @hopeshavenfriends Milo came to us in terribly shape with extensive injuries ...we were so blessed to have a wonderful foster family raise their hand and say yes I would like to foster Milo and get him back to health ...and that they did ! He is so very loving and will make someone the BEST FRIEND! Please if you want to make a difference in this wonderful dogs life by giving him a forever home please apply . About Milo from foster mom ~ He is a very loving sweet boy. He loves to swim do zoomies in the back yard. Also loves to be a lazy boy in bed. Not cats, or young children as he’s not fully aware of his size. He would be best as an only dog at this time as he needs more training on manners. He can be a bit overwhelming when he gets excited. He knows sit, lay down, and is working on wait and release. He is neutered, up to date on shots and approximately 1 year of age.
