Story
Truffle (Tuff) a fun, sweet, and loyal dog who absolutely adores her people. Tuff is smart, affectionate, and loves being part of whatever is going on. She enjoys attention, is eager to engage with her family, and brings a lot of personality and joy to everyday life. She does great with kids and other animals. When she gets excited, she can be a little barky and jumpy, but she settles down once she has a chance to calm herself. We’re rehoming Tuff because, despite her many wonderful qualities, she is not safe living with our other dog, Arlo. She has gone after him multiple times and has injured him, so for everyone’s safety, she must be placed in a home without other dogs. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but we love Tuff and want to find the right environment where she can be successful, happy, and safe. We’re hopeful there is a home out there that will appreciate what a special dog she is and give her the chance to shine.

Story
Meet Zeus! Zeus is a healthy Husky/German Shepherd mix born in June 2018. We rescued him at just 5 weeks old, and he has been a loved member of our family ever since.Zeus has a thick Husky coat, lots of energy, and loves to run, explore, and go on walks. He is strong and tends to pull, so the proper collar or harness is important. He also loves to cuddle and get attention but is perfectly content relaxing on his bed.Zeus does well with other dogs but is not a good fit for a home with cats. He has been around children his whole life, though he appreciates having his boundaries respected. He also prefers not to share his food bowl with other animals. This decision is no fault of Zeus. Our schedules no longer allow us to give him the time, exercise, and attention he needs to thrive. We are looking for an active, loving home that can give him the life he deserves.

Story
Archer was acquired from a friend whose dog had an oopsie liter. He is Great Pyrenees and Maremma and is 4 years old. He is a sweet big baby who loves to be pet and snuggled but is very protective of his family. He loves treats and plays with balls and his small buddy dog at home. He likes to herd his family and dog friend. Due to his owner’s illness, he needs a new home.

Story
Taylor 💜 9 months old mixed breed female. Rescued from the shelter and very scared and terrified sweet dog. Fearful of men and no kids best due to her being so timid . Needs a calm place to I've been fostering Taylor for a little under a week. She is AMAZING! So solid with other dogs. She reads their cues so well. She is doing really well with our cats. She wants to play and will chase if they run, but if you have a brave cat, it will be fine. Sleeps out of her crate at night with no trouble. She makes herself comfy out on my chair in the living room for the night. She does not shed. She loves to play with toys, other dogs, her trusted people. She is still fearful of new people. She will growl and curl her lip if she feels cornered. But mostly just a cautious growl otherwise. A quick treat or a walk outside together changes her demeanor pretty quickly. She fear piddles. If something gets loud and startles her or if she feels at all unsure, she might pee. She does not pee when excited. She needs leash work. We are trying but it's going to take a lot of time. She is FAST! Her zoomies are hilarious and she would make an excellent agility dog. She LOVES a car ride. She love belly rubs. She is spayed and UTD on shots, etc. I wouldn't recommend children under 12 and she would really prefer a woman. She will be loyal and follow whomever her person is around faithfully. She loves to lie next to me at the foot of the recliner when I'm still. She will go in her crate. Makes noise at first, but settles especially if a sheet is over it

Story
PSIRUS My name is Psirus 😊 I am a 4 yr. old Shepard/Husky mix, about 50 lbs., potty trained and neutered. I had a tougher start to life, where I was homeless most my life. My owners were homeless, but they really did love me, but I always wanted my own home, yard to run in and other dogs to play with. I am a very happy and playful boy. I can be a bit slow and shy to warm up to new people and new spaces (due to my poor vision) but once I warm up I love to play keep away and jump around! Also, once I get to know you, I will gladly chat away with you! I am very friendly to new dogs and animals and I’m good at respecting their boundaries and listening when they tell me enough as well. If you’re looking for a great family dog, someone to hike with or just a perfect dog to take for walks and play in the park, I’m your boy!
