She is affectionate, loyal, and people-oriented, with natural watchdog instincts but is not a nuisance barker. Nia’s only notable challenge is excitement with visitors, which is not aggression and is expected to improve significantly with regular walks and physical activity—something she is currently under-receiving. She is not cat-friendly. Rehoming is due to confirmed allergies in both an infant and an adult household member. With consistent exercise, basic reinforcement of large-dog manners, and routine veterinary care, Nia would thrive as a devoted companion in an active, stable home.

He wants to be alpha and should probably not go to a home with other male dogs. He is very scared of a lot of things. He likes attention but needs to be the one that comes to you. He doesn't like leashes. But if you want to take him on a walk, then you have to let him lead you. We lead him to walk with a treat, and then he starts going on his own. We have to go where he wants to go without pulling on the leash. He is very skittish. But once he is used to you, he loves you. (Princess is his sister - Hopes Haven dog)

He seems like he would like another dog close to his size to play with. He loves to chew on tennis balls. He loves chewing water from the hose. Loves company while he plays in the grass. He doesn’t like the leaf blower, tries to bite it. He is afraid of the fire pit. He love to cuddle and would love to sleep in your bed. Maverick needs more leash train but will follow and return if called by name to stay on trail.
