Story
Roman is a very energetic and affectionate dog. I adopted him with my ex-partner from a kill shelter in Arizona in the Fall of 2018. At that time, we were told he was between 2 and 4 years old. I do not believe he is purebred Cattle Dog. He is a bit shorter than average for the breed and weighs around 35 lbs. Roman has high anxiety which is alleviated by adequate exercise. He needs to be walked a minimum of 4 miles per day, every single day, to be at a baseline level of calm and comfort. He loves being outside and is a great hiking dog. He is extremely devoted and affectionate and very people-focused. He does have initial suspicion towards other dogs but is able to bond with other dogs and get along in a safe space. The reason I have made the very difficult decision to re-home him is that my partner and I separated and as a single person it has been very challenging to provide Roman with the attention and exercise that he needs.

Story
Please contact Fran Kreger (k9kids4adoption@gmail.com), (541) 926-5629 for more information about this pet.My name is Dex.  I am about 4 years old, and weigh about 85 pounds of pure love.  I would love to be your best friend. A female dog would be fun to play with.  Being an only boy would be wonderful too. I want a home SO badly, and would love one with a fenced yard, toys, someone to be near while we watch tv, and sleep at night.. I adore the water too. A trip to the beach would be so fun, or we could just play in the hose... If you might be my forever new family, Please email k9kids4adoption@gmail.com for an application, and tell us a little about the home you have for me, where you are located, and a phone number would also be nice....I am waiting.  An approved application, and a great home with a fenced yard, are required.... I will come vaccinated, neutered micro-chipped, and collar and leash.   Until we have received your completed application we can not arrange a meeting.September 4, 2025, 12:47 am

Story
Jasper is an unbelievably sweet boy, and is obsessed with snuggling and laying on you. He thinks he’s a lap dog! He is fully vaccinated and neutered, 56lbs. Unfortunately, I need to rehome him due to his reactivity to my cat, but he is VERY good with my 5yr old female pittie mix. He’s incredibly submissive to both her and to people, but has a high prey drive and from what I have seen should NOT be in a home with small animals (cats, chickens, pocket pets, etc.) unless you are able to separate indefinitely if needed. He knows how to settle down without protest and loves stuffie toys and chasing balls. I have a very nice crate if needed. Although we’re still working on it, he is able to relax in the crate and sleeps and eats in it. I haven’t had him for very long, and truly don’t think it’s smart to try to prolong the risk in my home to train his prey drive out. Owner with husky or high-energy breed experience preferred. Please reach out, anyone would be so incredibly lucky to have him

Story
I lived with my original single owner in Portland until he became ill, and I was eventually put up for adoption through the National GWP Rescue in September of 2025. Since September I have improved my new owner’s fitness through daily (power) walks, jogging, running, or bikejoring (I would make an awesome sled dog). After my morning workout, I snarf down breakfast and then settle in to nap (preferably on or near my owner’s feet) for most of the day 😏. I can tolerate being alone if I am in my crate and we have a predicable routine established. I have a strong prey drive and love to hunt squirrels and cats. I prefer to stay away from other dogs and will react strongly if they invade my bubble. Although I can become sad and distraught if left alone too much, I am a big lovable goof who just wants to be near with his people more than my current single owner can be. Suggested rehoming fee will go to NGWP Rescue, and Bruno’s home and travel crates are included.

Story
Adoption Fee: $ 400Weight: 49.6 lbsArrival Date: 12/01/2025Microchip ID #: 90008001178479Tophie is a shy soul at first, the kind of girl who likes to take her time getting to know new people and new places. But once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through! Her soft tail wags, quiet cuddles, and the most grateful little glances that say thank you for being patient with me. This lovely lady adores other dogs. Confident canine friends help her blossom, and she loves being part of a calm, friendly pack. She’s learning every day how to play, how to trust, and how to let her personality peek out a little more. Tophie is looking for a patient, loving home that understands the magic of slow progress. With kindness, routine, and a gentle touch, she’ll continue discovering who she is: a loyal, tender-hearted companion with so much love to give. Her foster parent says she`s doing great in foster care! She`s great with dog and cats!Tophie`s spending the holidays in a loving foster home, enjoying a much-needed break from the shelter while she continues to grow and relax!
