Story
Oakley is a sweet, sweet 3 year old boy! He is extremely loyal to his owners, very attention driven and loving. He is not aware of his size so sometimes he’s a little clumsy. He is good with dogs but does depend on a meet and greet. He is also very wary of unfamiliar people in his home, as he is very protective of his family. If he is scared he barks a lot and retreats to a safe space, but he is good once he knows the person well. He also is very attention-driven and loves to sit/lay close to his people at all times. He’s a great boy who deserves a loving home with lots of attention!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Update 3.8.2014 Buddy is now 2 years old and will be a work in progress. Buddy needs an experienced dog person, he cn not be allowed off leash EVER, he needs someone willing to get him out ofhis shell.  Posted 1/14/13 Buddy was in a very bad situation, born in a barn and not socialized or fed on a regualar basis.  He is very shy and with a little work can become a wonderful companion,.  He is about 10 months old and weighs 38lbs so he will be a meduim sized dog.  He is slowly getting used to being in a house since it is all foreign to him.  He is much more comfortable outside and PLAYS like a champ! This dog does need a fenced yard!!   His adoption fee is $200, BUT remember he needs a little work to be your BEST BUDDY!!  All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee along with an adoption kit . Application REQUIRED. We take the applications in the order that we receive them. Adoption fee required. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.(YOU MUST BE WITHIN A TWO HOUR DRIVE OF GRANTVILLE PA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN ADOPTER.) Posted 7/21/2023 Honey was aquired from another rescue.  She is extremely shy but does warm up but she will need a lot of one on one work.  I believe with the amount of progress she has made so far she just needs confidence and help to be as great as I know she can be.  Because she is so spooky she requires a fenced yard.  She has been perfectly housetrained here and wonderful in the crate.  Since she is a bit backward she will not eat or drink on front of people, and dhe will stay by a door knowing that is her way to bolt.  She is NOT snappy,  but will allow you to hug her.  I will not place her with any children since she does need work and she needs to be the center of attention to get her over the hump.  She has had a dental and bloodwork.  She is about 4-5 years old does require grooming  and her adoption fee is $350.  All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee along with an adoption kit . Application REQUIRED. Adoption fee required. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.UPDATE 4/23/2020 She is now 7-1/2 years old.  Posted 5/30/14 Unique was found as a stray and had 2 puppies after being taken in.  She is a young girl at 1-1/2 years old and she is a very busy dog.  She is very loving and loves to play with other dogs, but can be selective on who she likes.Because she is so active we do require a fenced yard for this 70lb dog.  She is crate trained and is housetrained (here).  She is not cat safe and because she jumps we do not recommend kids under 12, she has becoming increasingly unsure of children so we are changing the age to be 18.  She needs obedience training that will make her a perfect dog.  Her adoption fee is $200.  All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked.
