We are so sad to be posting this, but we area looking rehome our sweet Odie. We rehomed him from Central PA about 5 months ago. Not much is known about his previous medical history. He is believed to be about a year old and is a Border Collie, Bernese Mountain Dog, and Anatolian Shepherd mix. We have had him neutered and his shots are up to date! He has done well with our chickens. Although he does think they are playing with him and will chase them occasionally. We sadly have to give him up because he does not get along with our 3 year old black lab. We think this is due to jealously and competition for dominance. Odie does however get along with our older farm dog who is about 14 years old. Odie previously lived with 2 other small dogs and per his previous owner, got along well with them as well. Odie is the most lovable, cuddly dog and wants all the pets! He is happiest when he is cuddling us. He doesn’t realize how large he really is but he acts like a large lap dog!

Born January 2022, Mixer is a loyal, lovable, and great dog. Unfortunately, our family does not have the proper time or space to care for such a large dog. Additionally, this breed does not get along with our cats. He is not aggressive to humans in the slightest. Loves belly rubs! We are looking for a home that has space and time to give him all the affection he deserves. He also has a sister, Mocha, who he is bonded to.

Fine with other dogs and people.  Haven't tried him with cats. We have videos below of Bailey in all sorts of situations....   This all started on April 2nd when I got a call from a crippled man who couldn't care for his dog...dog was in bad shape...could we take the dog. "Bad shape" was an understatement and the volunteer who went to profile Bailey took him right then.  Bailey could barely walk, w/open oozing wounds on his body, matted skin folds, 1-2 inch tumor on his foot...  The guy had been injecting Bailey w/insulin but had no idea about the dosage since he'd not been to a vet in over 3 yrs.     M4M found a vet to take on his overall infections and skin issues - many medicated baths and thyroid meds later and he's ready to remove the foot tumor. Due to its location and his new-found happy activity level, the goal was to remove it before it ruptured & get as much of it as they could.      Today the vet estimates Bailey to be no younger than 6 yrs -- so I'll say 8 yrs. You know how illness and neglect can affect them.   67 pounds.   And we're so proud of his beautiful coat now!!  Look at the mud on his leg - that's from him happily wallowing in the garden!  Happy dirt!! YAY Bailey!!  I've attached more new photos of his beautiful labby head.   The first 2 pics here are him today, doing great. Aries - black bully mix, spayed female, 45 lbs, 11 months.  Very playful pup!!  She just wants to play and snuggle w/her human!!  Fine with other dogs, seems to ignore cats.  Aries is in a foster home and doing great!  She's housetrained and does her business when she's taken out on leash. She slept in bed with her human all night and stays in a gated area when her foster is in class. She's fine on a leash and enjoys interacting w/other neighborhood dogs on her walks.  Aries is not much for toys- as she prefers to follow her human around.  VOLUNTEERS:   We need transport drivers who can do legs between WV and New England on Saturdays.
