Story
Lola was surrendered to us when her person was moving into assisted living. She is fostered with multiple dogs, loves to go for walks in her stroller (which will come with her), and is about as sweet and easy as a dog can be. She loves spending time outside in the fenced in yard. She cannot do steps. This senior is looking for a soft place to land. If you're interested, please apply at furkidrescue.org/adopt.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SIMON, PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE TO READ ABOUT THE ADOPTION PROCESS AND FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. www.furkidrescue.org Simon was a “Covid dog” and the adopter is now looking to re-home him. Here is what his adopter has to say about him- Simon is a sweet boy with a lot of energy - a perfect adventure companion. He needs to be in a home with a lot of stimulation - preferably with parents who run or hike. He is very playful and loves car rides and water. He has mild resource guarding behaviors so he should not be left unsupervised with other dogs or small children. He also can't live in a home with cats. Simon has lived happily in his home for 4yrs. He is a great adventure companion who loves the car, water, and the woods. Due to recent changes in the adopter’s life and job circumstances he is unable to meet Simon’s high activity needs.  Simon has destructive and anxious behaviors when he is not properly stimulated. He will chew things he’s not supposed to and bark. He is not suitable in a home where he needs to be left alone for long periods of time. When he has the exercise and attention he needs these behaviors are not an issue. He has been through 4 training classes and is very responsive and intelligent. Please consider making Simon part of your family.

Story
Meet Nikita! Nikita was rescued from horrible conditions and is now safe but searching for her forever home. She is pretty perfect - gets along with dogs, cats and kids. She enjoys toys and chew bones and exploring outside. Because she was emaciated when she came to us, one of her pet peeves is waiting for her meals! She loves mealtime! She is an easy dog and would be great in any home. She is heartworm positive and will be treated after she gains weight. All costs of treatment are covered by the rescue. Story
Meet Carlo, a Furkid alum who was recently surrendered, through no fault of his own, back to the rescue. Carlo is a 4.5-year-old pit mix (65 lbs) with a sweet, cuddly soul and a big-baby personality. He loves being in your good favor and will happily soak up praise and affection. He is happiest when he is close to his people, and yes, he will absolutely try to curl up on your lap like he is not 65 pounds. Carlo is the total package. He is house-trained, crate-trained, great in the car, and he loves long walks/hikes on a leash. He does very well with other dogs, but is quite vocal during playdates. He has been calm with children, and has not been around cats yet. He's got a wiggle butt and a happy tail when meeting new people- and he does love new people. He is a fun walking partner, loves to swim, and truly enjoys cuddle time. Bonus, Carlo loves getting bathed too- an ear rub makes his day. Carlo’s best qualities: Quick learner Intuitive and tuned in to your needs Affectionate, loyal, and eager to please Does not chew or engage in any property destruction Ideal home: Wide open. Carlo will thrive with a loving family ready to include him in daily life. He would likely be especially happy with furry siblings to hang out and play with but is also adept at being an only fur kid. If you are looking for a loyal, loving best friend with a heart of gold, Carlo may be your perfect match. 💛

Story
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PARKOUR, PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE TO READ ABOUT THE ADOPTION PROCESS AND FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. www.FurKidRescue.org 🐾 Meet Parkour! 🐾 Parkour is a ball of energy, a busy-body young Bully who got his name honestly — he was constantly “parkour-ing” from couch to couch! 😂 This handsome guy is always on the move and always looking for something fun to do. Toys are definitely his love language, and you can pretty much count on Parkour having one in his mouth at all times! He LOVES de-stuffing toys and also enjoys the harder chew toys. Parkour enjoys the company of other dogs and would love a home where he can have plenty of opportunities to play and burn off some of that youthful energy. We haven’t introduced him to cats yet, so a cat evaluation would be needed for a home with feline friends. And when it’s time to settle down, Parkour is crate trained! ❤️ If you’re looking for a fun-loving, goofy, toy-obsessed young Bully who will keep you entertained, Parkour might just be your guy! 🐶💙

Story
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN STORMY, PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE TO READ ABOUT THE ADOPTION PROCESS AND FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. www.FurKidRescue.org Stormy came to us after she ate a tennis ball and needed emergency surgery. Her previous owner has abandoned her when they moved and the neighbor was caring for her and didn’t have the funds for surgery. Our vet did the surgery, and now she is fully recovered. Stormy is very sweet and overall calm dog. She does a lot of “talking” or “wooing” when she wants your attention! You can see her talking to us in videos on our Facebook page! She is an overall calm dog and wound fit in to pretty much any household, except she probably isn’t going to be a marathon training partner.
