Story
Meet Della! Della is a 6-year-old pittie mix weighing around 40lbs and we truly cannot understand how this gentle girl was ever found as a stray. She is the sweetest little soul. Della is simple in the very best way. She enjoys her walks, happily accepts her treats, and absolutely loves snuggling into her blankies like the cozy queen she is. But more than anything in this world? She just wants to spend time with you. She has a quiet, loving presence the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much, just a soft place to land and someone who won’t forget about her again. A comfy couch, a warm blanket, and a person to love her forever would be her dream come true. Della has so much tenderness in her heart, and we promise… she’s somehow even cuter and more charming in person. Della does well with other dogs and would likely do well with cats and kids. We can further cat test for serious inquires! If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share slow mornings, peaceful walks, and cozy nights, Della may be your girl. To schedule a meet & greet, please give our office a call at 412-672-8901. We can’t wait to help Della find the soft landing she deserves. All of our adoptable pets are... - Spayed or neutered - Vaccinated - Blood tested - Microchipped - Flea treated & dewormed You can email us at adopt@whiteoakanimalsafehaven.com or give us a call at 412-672-8901 for more info!

Story
Meet Poppy! Poppy is a 3-year-old American Bully mix weighing about 50 pounds who came to us as a stray, with her daughter, Peep. This sweet girl is laid-back, affectionate, and incredibly easygoing. Poppy is happiest lounging on a comfy couch (as long as it’s low enough for her to climb up!) or waddling over for some love and attention. She has a calm, gentle presence that makes her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a relaxed, loving pup. Poppy could benefit from losing a little weight to help her feel her best and move more comfortably, but overall she is happy, healthy, and ready for a home of her own. As a “micro” bully mix, Poppy may be more prone to certain medical considerations like joint or breathing issues down the line. She may need a little extra care and regular veterinary support—but in return, she will give you endless love and devotion. Poppy seems to do best with smaller dogs, and we require meet-and-greets with any potential canine siblings to ensure a great fit. We’re not yet sure how she does with cats. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion to share your couch and your heart, Poppy might be your perfect match! All of our adoptable pets are... - Spayed or neutered - Vaccinated - Blood tested - Microchipped - Flea treated & dewormed You can email us at adopt@whiteoakanimalsafehaven.com or give us a call at 412-672-8901 for more info! Story
Meet Peep Peep is a 2-year-old American Bully mix weighing about 40 pounds who came to us as a stray with her mom, Poppy. Peep is the playful, bouncy and always makes us smile! She’s full of personality, loves to have fun, and is always ready to brighten your day. After some playtime, she’s more than happy to curl up for snuggles and soak up all the affection you can give. Peep could stand to lose a little weight to help her stay healthy and comfortable, but she is overall a happy, friendly girl who’s ready to find her forever family. As a “micro” bully mix, Peep may be predisposed to certain health concerns like joint or breathing issues later in life. She may need a bit of extra care and vet support—but she’ll repay you with a lifetime of love and loyalty. Peep seems to do best with smaller dogs, and we require meet-and-greets with any potential canine siblings to ensure the best match. We’re unsure how she does with cats at this time. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling, Peep might be the perfect fit for you! All of our adoptable pets are... - Spayed or neutered - Vaccinated - Blood tested - Microchipped - Flea treated & dewormed You can email us at adopt@whiteoakanimalsafehaven.com or give us a call at 412-672-8901 for more info! Bash is a friendly happy guy! He’s got the cutest disposition. He’s a big boy but doesn’t know it. We think he’s got some hound dog mixed in there with who knows what else. All we know is that he’s a good boy who loves attention and is going to be a great pet We do not recommend cats for Bash!
