She’s searching for something she’s never truly had: love, safety, and a place to call home. After a life that left her unsure of humans, Soli is still learning how to trust. She’s shy and a bit timid, but underneath that cautious exterior is a sweet, affectionate girl who wants nothing more than to be loved. With a gentle touch and a little patience, Soli begins to show her softer side. She’s dog-friendly and would do well in a calm, nurturing home where she can grow at her own pace.If you’re the kind of person who believes in second chances and the quiet magic of earning a dog’s trust, Soli is waiting for you.

Story
Meet Joe Dirt Joe Dirt showed up at the Great Falls Fire Department ready to fill out a job application... only to discover they had already filled all the positions. So, naturally, he wandered over to us to see if we were hiring. While we couldn`t offer him a paycheck, we can help him find something even better—a forever family. In all seriousness, Joe Dirt was found as a stray in rough shape. He was far too thin when he arrived, and it was clear life hadn`t been very kind to him. Thanks to plenty of good meals and even more love, he`s filling out nicely and looking healthier every day. (Don`t worry—we`re making sure his new figure is all muscle and not `too many treats!`)Joe Dirt has never met a stranger. He`s incredibly friendly with everyone he meets, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and has one of the gentlest souls you`ll ever encounter. Whether he`s greeting new friends or quietly soaking up affection, his kind nature shines through. If there`s one thing Joe Dirt loves almost as much as people, it`s going for a ride. Car? Truck? SUV? Tractor? If it has wheels and you`re willing to take him along, he`s already calling shotgun. For Joe, every ride is an adventure, and he`s happiest when he`s sharing it with his favorite humans.Joe Dirt has left his wandering days behind. He`s put in the hard work, gained back the weight he needed, and is more than ready to trade life as a stray for life as someone`s beloved best friend. If you`re looking for a loyal co-pilot, a gentle companion, and a dog whose greatest joy is simply being with his people, Joe Dirt is ready to hop in and head home with you.

Story
Meet WeevilWeevil is what we like to call a gentle lug of a guy—a big-hearted boy who has been through more than his share and still manages to be nothing but sweet.Weevil showed up at a home that wasn’t his, and when he arrived at the shelter, it was clear he had been struggling for quite some time. He was significantly underweight, had extensive hair loss, and was incredibly itchy and uncomfortable. We immediately started him on the appropriate medications and a slow refeeding program to help his body safely recover. And through it all, Weevil has been an absolute gentleman.Every time you spend time with him, he looks at you with those eyes that seem to say, “Thank you for helping me.” It’s hard not to fall completely in love with him.Weevil is also heartworm positive, likely the result of spending much of his life outside without the care he deserved. He is currently undergoing treatment, and we are committed to helping him get healthy and back on his feet.We have not dog-tested Weevil yet. After everything his body and mind have been through, we felt the kindest thing was to let him decompress and heal rather than add unnecessary stress right now.He has already made so much progress, and we would love nothing more than to see him continue that journey in a loving home instead of a kennel.Weevil didn`t ask for the life he was given. But he sure deserves the chance to discover how wonderful life can be.Come meet this sweet, gentle lug. He may just be waiting to thank you for becoming his person.
