Story
Meet Miley! Age: 6 Weight: 57lbs Ms. Miley is a beautiful and friendly lady who has a smile and a wagging tail for everyone. She doesn't seem to need much in life and doesn't really care about toys or treats. All she wants is a human friend who will love her and give her ample attention. Miley enjoys leisurely walks and often has her nose to the ground for all the smells. She knows sit, but she'd rather stand by your side like the loyal friend she is. Miley would enjoy a home where she is the only canine star, but if you have another dog, a meet-and-greet at the shelter is required to be sure you all have a happy-ever-after ending. Ms. Miley is the perfect middle-age dog to be your easygoing, tenderhearted, and loving companion. She'd love to make your acquaintance, however she is being adopted out through foster care. If you are interested please fill out an online application and we will get you in contact with her foster parents!

Bruno has a good amount of energy and gets very excited when meeting new people, it's just a bit of leftover puppy vibes. He's a great dog, who has had some bad luck due to no fault of his own. Please consider coming down to meet sweet Bruno!

Story
Meet Bubba! Age: 4 Weight: 68lbs Bubba looks like the bad-boy type, but this chunk of hunk with smoldering eyes is really a loyal, mellow guy who adores his stuffy and squeaky toys. Sometimes he loves his toys so much, they even go outside for potty breaks with him! Bubba is definitely a lover, and he'll bury his chonky head into your arms or snuggle up against you on the couch. Bubba also has some darn good manners. He is easy to train, and he knows all the basic commands. Bubba does like to play a few times a day. Fetch is his favorite, but he's also quite fond of chasing and chomping at the water from a hose on warm days. After a little playtime, Bubba finds a comfy spot and will rest quietly. Bubba does enjoy playing with other dogs, but we require any existing dog(s) to meet Bubba at the shelter before adoption to be sure all dogs are happy with their new friends. Bubba does NOT do well with cats, so a home without cats is also a requirement. Bubba is currently with an amazing foster family where he is learning to feel comfortable in a crate, enjoys practicing all his obedience skills, and soaks up lots of love. This beefcake softie would love for you to fill out an application online and then contact the shelter to schedule a time to meet him!

Story
Meet Monty! Age: 1 year Weight: 36lbs We haven't done a DNA test on Monty to prove it, but we believe this fun, older puppy must be part bunny. Monty has us in stitches on his daily walks when he randomly replaces a normal step with the bounciest hop that's ever come from a dog. Monty also plays well with other dogs and has enjoyed living with his doggie foster-sibling. But don't think Monty is only a bundle of playful energy. Monty is also the sweetest cuddle-bug. Monty would actually prefer a calmer home, and he has done best in a home with only adults or with older children. Monty is very comfortable being in a crate for meals and when he's alone, and he's got outside potty breaks down pat. If Monty sounds like the gentle little jumping bean you need in your life, please complete an application online and stop by to meet him in person!

Story
Meet CoCo! Age: 4 Weight: 62lbs Coco has personality with a capital P! Coco is a generous love bug, thoroughly enjoys giving kisses, and breaks out in spontaneous zoomies when she's excited. She also loves playing with toys - especially when they are thrown for her so that she can chase them! But Coco knows when to settle down. If you're working at home, she'll likely sit calmly next to you, wanting a pat or a scratch every now and then. If you need a little space, easygoing Coco will lay on her bed or in her crate and let you do your thing. Coco does well meeting strangers and puts a smile on anyone's face with her goofy, open-mouthed grin. With that squishy face and adorable tail wag, you're destined to love her as much as she will instantly love you. Coco likes to play with the (doggie) boys, but she's not as fond of female dogs. We don't know how she is with cats. If you need a little extra love in your life or someone to put a smile on your face every day, Coco is ready to show you what joy she can bring to your world. Come meet her today!
