He is the sweetest dog you will ever come across, ive had him for a few months and he is amazing. Very calm when inside or left by himself. He is very curious with other dogs and can be a bit sassy so be mindful of that. A great bestfriend for someone who needs him.

Story
Choco a super sweet cuddler! He loves to play and be active, but when it’s time to settle, there is no place he wants to be more than right next to (or on top of) his humans. He is great with our teenagers and their friends. We don’t have young kids in the home, but we have taken him places where he has been greeted, pet, and fed by young children, and he has been very calm and affectionate with them. We have two doodles in the home - a 9 year old male and a 3 year old female, and Choco plays well with them both. Choco has done great with potty training and other training in general. He is smart and eager to please. He loves to go on walks. I have been using a front clip harness with him, and he does great with it - no pulling. He is aware of other dogs we pass but is not overly reactive. With training, I think he could learn to completely ignore passing dogs. Choco loves his food and eats very quickly. We are working on sitting and waiting until I say “OK” before he can eat. He is gaining more self-control each day! My kids and I have all taken away his food and treats while he was eating and never had any reaction from him. If the other dogs try to steal his treat, he will give them a little verbal warning. Likewise, he has tried to steal treats from the other dogs and then changed his mind when they reciprocated that warning. It all seems like normal dog behavior of establishing and respecting each other’s boundaries. He's ready to find a family to call his own! http://bit.ly/4Paws1HeartDogAdoption

Story
🌸 Meet Trixie! 🌸 Breed: Tennessee Tree Brindle Age: 1–2 years old. They are known for their friendly, sociable nature and form strong bonds with their family. Trixie was found abandoned in Trophy Club. She is a gentle soul looking for a patient and loving adopter who can help her feel safe and secure. She’s a shy girl, sometimes a little fearful, but with kindness and consistency she blossoms into a loyal companion. 🌟 Personality & Traits 🌟 • Shy but sweet: She warms up slowly, but her trust is worth the wait. • Couch potato: Trixie loves lounging and will happily keep you company during work-from-home days. • Dog-friendly: She does well with other dogs and enjoys their company. • Leash trained: Walks calmly and politely, but must take time to smell all the smells. She is not a fan of blow-up holiday creatures she comes up on, nor is she a fan of loud mowing creatures or thunder. She does do well with a thunder shirt on during thunderstorms. 🏡 Ideal Home Trixie would thrive with someone who works from home and can provide the patience she needs. She should not be left alone in a backyard without supervision, as she feels safest when near her people. With the right adopter, Trixie will be a devoted companion who brings quiet joy and comfort to your life. To start the adoption process, please complete our application. Her adoption fee is $100. If you would like to meet this sweet girl, start by completing our application. http://bit.ly/4Paws1HeartDogAdoption

Story
My husband passed away in March & I moved in with my daughter & son in-law. They have a baby & a large dog too. It was my husband’s dog & my husband was ill for two years. Very stressful for the dog. This situation is putting too much stress on the household. I work all day & keep him in my room all the time. Smokey needs a nice family & a yard to be out & play in.

Story
BAKUGO 🐾 Gorgeously sweet pup @ just 3 years old! He has to learn to trust men again but is doing amazing with training and has shown so much improvement! Because of his size no young/small children or dogs/cats. Older kids who know to respect his space would be okay. He is a BIG Sensitive guy with a charming personality. Doesn’t love living in a crate as he prefers to be hanging out with his person! Will go in an indestructible crate but it’s not his favorite 🤣 Very treat motivated and eager to learn! LOVES the lake, to go for walks and truck rides!! With continued training and an assertive owner he will thrive in a new environment but will need slow introductions to new people. Everything is very scary to him at first, poor guy! House Trained - will not potty in the house when left out or in his crate! Fully vaccinated Neutered Current on Preventatives Still undergoing training with foster ❤️🐾

Story
Meet Charlie This sweet boy is 10 weeks old. He was rescued with his 3 siblings and his mom when he was 2 weeks old. His mom gave birth outside under a pile of trash. Thanks to a volunteer this little family was rescued. They had to go on a 10 hour road trip to make it to their fosters house where he has grown up. His mom has an amazing temperament and weights 11 pounds. We were curious about their breed so we did a DNA test and that revealed that he is 38% Chihuahuas, 14% poodle, 13% Chihuahuas, 11% Jack Russel . We are unsure how big he will get but we don't think he will be more than 17 pounds. Charlie enjoys to play with her siblings, mom and her fosters Chihuahua. He especially loves to sit in his foster moms lap for cuddles. He enjoys toys and a good bully stick. He is pretty good about going potty on the pee pads but he is going to need a family willing to potty train him. He is a puppy so he will need a patient family that can provide training so he can grow up to be a successful dog. Charlie would do best with someone that works from home or is only gone for a few hours a day. He is a small puppy so he will need a secure fenced in yard.Charlie has received his first round of vaccines and has begun his deworming meds at 2 weeks. He will be due for his final dose next week. He is also microchipped. Magnolia Animal Rescue will cover the 2 remaining vaccines on 12/19 and 1/16 and his neuter that will need to be completed by 6 months at one of our approved vet partners. If there are children in the home they must be over 5 years old for his safety since he's so small. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that are a good fit for the dog.
