Story
Jax is a wonderful and very friendly guy. I met him as a stray but was immediately impressed with his good behavior. I called local animal control but kept open communication with the folks there and eventually adopted him. He has been a good companion and is very affectionate. He is chipped and I transferred his chip to my name. He responds very well to commands. He is probably a couple of years old and still likes to play. I need to find him a new and loving home because at 71 yrs old I have been sick lately and I am getting weak with an unstable gate. I am afraid Jax might accidentally knock me down and I don't to take the risk.

Story
He is energetic. Great disposition, playful, watch dog, housebroken and loves socks...not shoes but socks. He knows sit, down, stay, wait and go to potty. He is stubborn but cute. His bed time is usually 9 pm and sometimes u can tell him to go to bed. And he will do it. It is hard to get mad at him because he is so cute!!!!!! He does try to talk when he wants something and has been training to ring a bell to go out. He needs a loving home with patience. He attaches himself to one person quickly. He has everything. And everything goes with him. He is 7 months old and will be neutered April 1. He is also AkC registered.

Story
We had adopted Mia almost 9 years ago, when she was 6 months old from Barc and she has been a great addition to our family. She is super loving, patient with children and has never met a human she doesn't like. She is used to living in both a home with a doggy door and an apartment. She is very calm, hardly barks, and very obedient. We will be moving to Thailand and cannot take her with us. Looking for a long term home that can continue to love and support her.

Story
Canelo was born 3/26/23, he was my Mother's Day gift this year and I was over the moon. He was the type of dog I always wanted. he is the sweetest pup loves to cuddle and be around others. He is potty trained, I have a doorbell on my door and he will ring it when he needs to go outside. I TRIED to kennel him but was unsuccessful and I think because of it he might have a little bit of a separation anxiety. I was WFH but my job changed and won't be able to be at home as often, I am also going through a divorce and with 3 kids it's just been a lot mentally. Canelo is the sweetest and I feel like he deserves an owner who has time for him. Preferable somewhere with a decent backyard for him to run around and play fetch, that's his favorite

Hi, I'm Boudreaux! Age: Approx. 3 years Gender: Neutered Male Weight: 55 lbs Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix Favorites: Treats, leaning on people Energy level: Moderate Training: Knows commands “sit” and “shake” Other important info about me: I came to the shelter with an allergic reaction to fleas, with much of the hair on my back end missing. I’ve been treated and my hair is growing back nicely, so I’m ready to find my forever home! As long as you keep me on a regular flea prevention, I won’t have any more reactions in the future. I appear to get along with people of all ages and other dogs, but I haven’t been tested with cats at this time. If you are interested in adopting me, please call 281-576-2417, email mbas@montbelvieu.net, or submit an adoption inquiry though this listing!

Hi, I'm Gremlin! Age: Approx. 1.5 years Gender: Neutered Male Weight: 63 lbs Breed: Labrador Retriever/Australian Kelpie Mix Favorites: Toys and treats! Energy level: High Training: Knows commands “sit” and “shake” Other important info about me: Every day is the best day ever and every person I meet is my new best friend! I may look a little goofy because of my underbite and wry nose, but that’s one of the reasons I’m so special! I appear to get along with people of all ages; I don't appear to get along with other male dogs, but I seem to do ok with females. I haven’t been tested with cats at this time.
