Story
Hi, I'm Topsy! Age: Approx. 2 years Gender: Spayed Female Weight: 46 lbs Breed: Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Mix Favorites: Treats, playing with people Energy level: High Training: Knows command “sit,” appears potty trained Other important info about me: I am full of boundless joy and want to share that with anyone and everyone! I came to the shelter with my best friend, Turvy, but he has been adopted already and I’m still waiting anxiously for my family to come along! I was good friends with Turvy, but I've shown mixed reactions with other dogs, so I need to be tested with any other dogs in the household prior to adoption. I get along well with people of all ages; I haven’t been tested with cats at this time. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an adoption inquiry through this listing, email mbas@montbelvieu.net, or call us at 281-214-9045!

🐾 Dusty Needs a New Home 🐾 Meet Dusty, a 5-year-old neutered male Maltipoo looking for a loving new home. Dusty is an outside dog who enjoys having room to explore and patrol his yard. He gets along well with other dogs and is an excellent little watchdog. He'll let you know when visitors arrive or when wildlife and predators are nearby. Story
BETTY WHITE Betty is a cheerful, people-loving mixed breed who lives for two things: belly rubs and a good game of catch. Gentle, social, and endlessly sweet, she lights up when she has your attention. Betty does best with a family, kids, or other pets around — she loves having a crew and will happily be everyone's best friend. She would be a wonderful fit for an active household that loves cuddles just as much as playtime. TOGETHER These two are a bonded pair who would love to be adopted together, but could each find happiness in the right home individually — as long as there are people, kids, or other animals to keep them company. They are nose-to-nose nappers and each other's greatest comfort. Adopting them together means double the love and two already-happy girls. Only 1 fee if both are adopted together 💕

Story
Hi, I'm Laila! Age: Approx. 1.5 years Gender: Spayed Female Weight: 53 lbs Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Favorites: Exploring outside, playing with people and other dogs Energy level: Moderate Training: Will sit for treat Other important info about me: I came to the shelter as a stray, shy and reserved. My face and ears were swollen, infected, and covered with bite wounds from another dog. It was also apparent that I probably had at least a couple litters of puppies before, the last one not too long ago. My collar was faded, worn, and dirty. No one knows where I came from, but as you might expect, no owner came to take me home. After some medication and one-on-one time with staff, I began to feel a lot better! I may still be a bit shy when we first meet, but it doesn’t take me long to make friends anymore. The staff were unsure how I would react to other dogs given my condition on intake, but it turns out I’m actually very friendly with them and love to play! I also get along well with people of all ages. I haven’t been tested with cats at this time. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an adoption inquiry through this listing, email mbas@montbelvieu.net, or call us at 281-214-9045!

James

Olde English Bulldogge

Male, Adult
Baytown, TX
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
James is a registered Olde English Bulldogge, intact male. Due to his intact male status he is a very hyper active dog when he is around other dogs. He would be best as a single dog to an owner that has some muscles. He is house trained and kennel trained. We have never had an issue with him being destructive when we are away. He does not walk well on the leash, but he could be trained with consistent training. He is good around kids (5years and older), smaller kids he might get too excited and jump on them. He has never bitten or shown aggression. He is interested in looking at chickens through the coop, but I'm sure if he had the chance he would try to "play' with them. He needs more attention that we can give. We got him and then we moved jobs which took more time away from the house. So now he sits in his cage most of the day, because if he is outside for too much he gets hot and sometimes hot spots.
