Story
Hi, I'm Topsy! Age: Approx. 2 years Gender: Spayed Female Weight: 46 lbs Breed: Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Mix Favorites: Treats, playing with people Energy level: High Training: Knows command “sit,” appears potty trained Other important info about me: I am full of boundless joy and want to share that with anyone and everyone! I came to the shelter with my best friend, Turvy, but he has been adopted already and I’m still waiting anxiously for my family to come along! I was good friends with Turvy, but I've shown mixed reactions with other dogs, so I need to be tested with any other dogs in the household prior to adoption. I get along well with people of all ages; I haven’t been tested with cats at this time. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an adoption inquiry through this listing, email mbas@montbelvieu.net, or call us at 281-214-9045!

Story
Found Mac at work, believe to have been dumped. He was friendly and had an injured leg. For two weeks, Animal services did not come pick him so decided to take him to the vet. Vet believes him to be a 9-12 month old silver lab/pitbull mix. Other than the bum leg, he had a clean bill of health. His leg turned out to be a sprain, no breaks. He is up to date on vaccines, and has been neutered. Unfortunately, my dog is not coping well with a newcomer. While they get along just fine, she is not eating and withdrawn.

Story
Luna is a rescue. She was found in the backroads with no collar and in bad shape. We have taken her to the vet and she got a rabies shot and is current on vaccines. She does have allergy issues which needs attention and care. She needs to eat food without grains and take a vitamin for her skin, hair and gut health. She is a loving dog. Although she isn’t very active she enjoys her zoomies and loves attention. She is more of a lap dog so if you don’t like your pet on your lap then Luna isn’t for you. She loves to be around her people. She enjoys road trips and butt smacks. She does have skin issues due to her allergies which also affect her ears really bad. She needs vet care, also with anal glands. They need to be cleaned out like every two months. She is around 6 yrs old and is a French Bulldog. I do not know if she is mixed. I don’t know about her past but she needs additional potty training. She will be a great addition to a loving family that enjoys a fur shadow companion.

Story
Hi, I'm Laila! Age: Approx. 1.5 years Gender: Female Weight: 53 lbs Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Favorites: Exploring outside, playing with people and other dogs Energy level: Moderate Training: Will sit for treat Other important info about me: I came to the shelter as a stray, shy and reserved. My face and ears were swollen, infected, and covered with bite wounds from another dog. It was also apparent that I probably had at least a couple litters of puppies before, the last one not too long ago. My collar was faded, worn, and dirty. No one knows where I came from, but as you might expect, no owner came to take me home. After some medication and one-on-one time with staff, I began to feel a lot better! I may still be a bit shy when we first meet, but it doesn’t take me long to make friends anymore. The staff were unsure how I would react to other dogs given my condition on intake, but it turns out I’m actually very friendly with them and love to play! I also get along well with people of all ages. I haven’t been tested with cats at this time. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an adoption inquiry through this listing, email mbas@montbelvieu.net, or call us at 281-214-9045!
