I came to the shelter with my best friend, Turvy, but he has been adopted already and I’m still waiting anxiously for my family to come along! I was good friends with Turvy, but I've shown mixed reactions with other dogs, so I need to be tested with any other dogs in the household prior to adoption. If I get a home where I can get lots of exercise and keep working on training, I know I will learn to be a wonderful addition to the family. I appear to get along well with people of all ages, but I can be a bit too rambunctious for younger kids. My pups have moved on to find their forever families, but it’s time for me to find mine! I am very well-mannered and super smart. I’m a bit on the older side, which may cause a lot of people to look past me for younger dogs and puppies, but there’s lots of advantages to adopting an older and wiser dog! I’ve got some training already, and you don’t have to worry about any puppy shenanigans with me. I just want a nice place to call home, with people who will include me as part of the family. My friend's liter had two puppies that came out deaf, but Mr. Pickles is also blind on his left and I am not sure how much he can see from his right eye. but he is a sweet dog. I am fostering him but I have a busy schedule and I feel he needs a ton more attention. He is good with other dogs and cats. He stays inside with my cat in my room. He is a very sweet puppy, full of life and is very playful and sleeps a lot as well. I just want to find him a good loving home with someone who is maybe retired or does not work so they can give him full time attention. I work and have kids in sports but I volunteered to help care for him and foster him for some time but we have not found him a home.
