Meet Riley, a 3-year-old Chihuahua who was surrendered to the veterinary clinic where I work. She is a very timid but incredibly sweet girl who needs a calm, quiet home with no children. She does well with small to medium-sized dogs and with cats, as long as they’re friendly. Riley needs someone patient and gentle. Her behavior suggests she may have come from an unsafe or stressful environment, so she does not do well with rapid movements, shouting, or loud, active households. She’s a little shadow who will follow you everywhere and loves to be right on top of you for comfort. She is not fully housebroken, but she reliably uses a pee pad and enjoys short walks outside. Riley is allergic to salmon and fish products. We’ve found that turkey and sweet-potato–based foods have been safe for her so far. There is a small $50 adoption fee, just to make sure she finds a committed forever family. She truly is the sweetest girl, and she deserves a home filled with love, gentleness, and comfort.

She does great with children and gets along well with cats, making her an easy fit for a variety of homes. Kara loves being near her people, enjoys quiet companionship, and has that classic Shih Tzu charm that wins hearts quickly. Kara would do best in a home where she can receive the care and attention she deserves, including support for her skin allergies. She has so much love left to give and is looking for a soft place to land with someone who will cherish her. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we just aren't able to provide her with the care and attention she needs and deserves. Hazel is 8 months old. She has all shots, is spayed and microchipped. She is on heartworm prevention;Simparica trio. She is kennel trained and we will include her kennel if desired. We have an older dog that she is too active for. She likes to run and play and will grab his tail. A sweet very active dog. Hazel likes to jump up and is an active chewer. Most of the time it is her toys, sometimes sticks and paper. These are probably puppy traits and trainable.

I got her from these ladies who found her and some other puppies dumped at their apartments. I can't keep her because she's not potty trained and I know she will get bigger. My landlord prefers us not to have bigger dogs especially untrained ones. she has does well with puppy pads though. She loves other dogs and follows without a leash.

She is a little hyper, but she loves to play and is super sweet. unfortunately because she is bigger and not potty trained our landlord will not let us keep her. she gets along with other dogs and cats she just scares them sometimes because she runs up to them.
