Story
I've had Athena for a few years and while I do love her I'm just not able to take care of her anymore. I'm not home most of the day due to work so she is alone which I think is making her act out alittle. I've never really had behavioral issues with her other than she can get overly excited. For the most part she is an indoor dog. She enjoys fresh air but she does not like the heat! She does know to use the potty outside but right now part of her acting out is going inside which is my biggest problem. So im looking for someone that has the time to train her properly that will keep her indoors the way she enjoys. She deserves to be with someone that has plenty of time to spend with her. Also if its not to much of a problem I would enjoy updates on how she is doing.

Story
Bruce (aka: Boots/Bootsie) will be 11 this December. I adopted him when he was 3. Most of the day he is curled up in his favorite spot. He is a great guard dog. He will let you know when someone is outside I normally tell him (sternly) to stop it and he’ll get quiet. He would do better as an only dog because he is older and just likes to relax. He definitely thinks he is a big dog and will bark at bigger dogs. He is potty trained but wears belly bands inside because he likes to mark a little when he thinks you aren’t looking. He is really sweet and LOVES to cuddle but do not bother him at all when he is eating. He will think you are trying to take his food and start talking mess (grunting..that can turn into snapping). He can have a little attitude. He doesn’t mind being in his crate while you are out but will sometimes grunt mess under his breath if you tell him to go to his room when he has just been let out. I am trying to rehome him because I have a very busy schedule.

Story
Rae Rae is about 5 months old , very playful, he likes carrying sticks, toys are and playing keep away. I found him abandoned by my neighbor after they moved I would go over and feed him thinking they just couldn’t get back in time but they never returned. I travel a lot and feel he deserves an owner that could give him more care.

Story
Her previous owner took her to my home to get euthanized and to our surprise she was perfectly healthy so I decided to take her in as a foster to find her a home. Unfortunately, I haven't found her a home and she's a very good dog but she's alone for most of the day and she needs someone who's able to give her that attention and love she needs. She is kennel trained but after a while she begins to get anxious if she's there for too long as well if there's thunder. She waits in the morning and after work to use the restroom but does pull towards other pets around her.never aggressively just very curious. Yet my roommate and I haven't taken that chance to let her go with other dogs. I have a ferret that she plays with here and there as well as a cat and dog interactions where she's curious and playful but never barks. She's a good girl who needs a loving home.

Story
Jax is the total package: heart-melter, snuggle expert, and all-around people fan. This little guy is basically a teddy bear with a pulse he’ll happily hang out in your arms, soak up head pats, and make himself at home in your lap. New faces? New places? Jax rolls with it like he’s never met a stranger. He’s a social butterfly with other small dogs and cats, and he’d be absolute magic with gentle kids. For a small pup, he’s refreshingly quiet no yappy tantrums here, just a mellow, easy going vibe. Bring out a squeaky toy and you’ll see his goofy side come alive he’ll keep you laughing with his antics. We’ll be honest: resisting his charm was nearly impossible (foster fail, anyone?). Jax is looking for a home where he’ll get lots of love and hands on attention if you’ve got arms for cuddling and time for play, he’s ready to be your new best friend.Jax has tested negative for heartworm, is up to date on his vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped, and treated for parasites. His adoption fee is $400. We’ll ask for veterinary references and will also require a home visit. Applications are now open; we’ll review all candidates carefully before making our decision. You can email us for our dog application. Personality traitsAffectionate, Curious, Playful, Loves Kisses, Loyal, Gentle, Friendly, SmartAll cats/kittens are spay/neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for any parasites, tested for Feline Leukemia and FiV and receive a microchip with a lifetime of free registration. www.missionforpaws.org/application
