Vivian is a beautiful young blue Merle smooth coat female collie. She is approximately 2-3 years old and 55 lbs. Vivian is a very special girl that came from a hoarding situation of about 200 collies, Her happy place revolves around other dogs, which make her feel comfortable and confident. She loves to run and play and has a tendency to hop around like a bunny rabbit when playing! She is a very sweet girl but is not a cuddler. She is very cautious around humans and is progressing. Vivian is house trained and uses a doggie door. Vivian needs a home that is calm and relatively quiet. It is a must that she has a furry friend that will give her the comfort and confidence she needs. Her family will need patience and understanding to continue her progress.

Story
Hello Seamus! (pronounced Shamus) Seamus is a smooth tri collie approximately 6 years old and about 55 pounds. He came to HCR from a hoarding situation of neglect. He has come a long way with his foster mom learning trust and love. Seamus is happiest outside, running freely and barking greetings to neighboring kitties, kids, and doggies! His favorite place is chillin’ on the sofa. He can be a bit goofy playing with toys, and seeking attention and love with sweet little nose taps. He does well on a leash and short walks. He also enjoys car rides. Seamus’ perfect home would be a peaceful adult home with another calm playful dog to continue to give him confidence. Seamus loves other dogs and is just the sweetest boy! He is shy and will need a little patience and understanding to gain trust with his new owner. Seamus will make the right person a wonderful loving companion. Local adoptions only. Introducing handsome Oscar! Oscar is a 1 year old tri-colored color-headed white smooth coat collie. He weighs about 50 lbs. He is so very sweet and loving but can also be quite shy. Oscar will need someone that understands him and can help him gain confidence. Another sweet playmate would be a benefit. Oscar looks to his human for guidance and is eager to please. As with all young pups, he has an on switch too. That’s when the fun begins! Oscar is potty trained and crate trained. Oscar’s furever home would include a sweet fur-sibling to show him the ropes and people to give him love, attention and patience. Oscar would prefer a calm home and to be the center of attention!

Story
Bingo has been with us for a few weeks. We found him in February when he was wandering the streets in our neighborhood. He had not been chipped nor did he have a tag on. We kept him (approx. 5-6 weeks), because he would have otherwise gone with animal control to a shelter. At the time we didn’t know how he would interact with our dog. With other dogs, he is very energetic and playful. Our existing pet, gets very anxious and defensive around him, so that is one of the reasons we are looking to rehome. He enjoys car rides and playing with toys. He loves to cuddle and hug. Bingo is an extremely intelligent dog. He does have sharp teeth so soft toys are off the table. He also knows some tricks like sit, down and paw. 🐾

Toby is house and crate trained, fully vaccinated and neutered. He even knows how to use a doggie door! He loves lounging on his dog bed, the sofa and of course his human’s bed. Toby is a very happy little boy and friendly with all he meets. He greets everyone with a smile and tail wags! Toby can be a bit shy, but does warm up quite quickly. He loves to play and gets along great with other dogs. Toby very best family will have a doggie playmate. Kids would be the icing on the cake!
