Story
Maya is mom to cowboy, rodeo, DAVIS, Teddy, Kizzy, and Ellie. She is a one-year-old German Shepherd, who is now spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchip. She is on heartworm and flea prevention. She is very friendly and playful. She likes other dogs. She does bark at the Foster‘s cat but does not really chase after her if not in the crate. However, because of the barking at the cat, we do recommend that she go to a home without Cats. She will be good with children and all humans. Please contact savapetwac@yahoo.com for an application. We do require the application prior to any meet and greets with our dogs. We do not require an in person home visit.

Story
Meet Willow! Willow is a 50-pound, 3-year-old, yellow lab mix who is now available for adoption in Texas! She is the perfect mix of sweet, gentle, and playful. She has been living with her foster family, including 2 dogs and 3 cats. She is completely respectful of the cats and loves her foster doggie friends. Willow is a total couch potato. While she still enjoys a relaxing walk, she is perfectly content to spend her Saturday morning napping in the living room or stalking squirrels in the backyard. She could spend her whole day perfectly content in a comfy dog bed with a good bone to chew. She can likely fit into any home that allows her to take her time to get to know one another. She'd likely do better in a quieter home with other animals. When she first arrived at her foster home, she was nervous at first being home alone, but has grown tremendously. Willow is house-trained. She has never had a single accident in her entire stay with her foster family. She is crate-trained and settles well in her crate. She can be nervous in new places, but adapts well when given patience and love. She is a very quiet dog and rarely barks. Willow is also extremely food-motivated. Her motivation, combined with her desire to please, makes for the perfect storm for a trainable dog. Willow is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. She is the sweetest girl looking for a loving home. She has so much love to give! Please apply to adopt Willow in Texas at www.luckylabrescue.com

Story
Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Tony. This ray of sunshine is about three years old and weighs about 45 pounds. When the shelter Tony was stuck in sent us videos of him, we couldn't get over what a happy-go-lucky, glimmer-in-his-eye kinda guy he was; always up for fun, pets, while wagging his tail the entire time. Most dogs are scared and nervous in a shelter; not Tony, he was Mr. Personality. Tony is great with humans and other dogs. He relishes attention and would be a great best friend! Tony is now living in a foster home and would LOVE to find his forever home. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, housebroken, and crate-trained. Apply at http://www.luckylabrescue.com

Story
Cowboy, Rodeo, Davis, and Teddy are male shepherd puppies - Maya’s (German shepherd dad unknown) babies are 4.5 mos old and are friendly and active and love to play. They are extremely sweet and love to be held. They are fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped as part of the adoption. They are already on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. They are great with other dogs. These puppies came from a high kill shelter and a desperate plea came for them and their momma a GSD named Maya and sav a pet rescued them. The momma and her 2 weeks old babies were set for euthanasia so sav a pet rescued them. They are in foster homes. They are crate trained and are learning to potty outside. We are working on house breaking but they are still very young. We require an approved adoption application before meeting our dogs. Contact savapetwac@yahoo.com to get additional information and the application. The puppies are located in Houston texas. And we welcome adopters from houston and also outside our area and out of state too.

Story
Meet Ollie — a 65 lb elastic band of enthusiasm held together by fur, optimism, and the faint hope that you dropped a snack. He’s 2 years old, tall, lanky, and moves with the confident wobble of a toddler in a cape. His knees have their own opinions. His life motto is “full send.” Ollie lives with a cat and dogs. The cat is the household deity; Ollie approaches her like a mortal at a sacred shrine, hoping not to be smote. He plays well with dogs and thrives at daycare. But his true soulmate is his foster family’s five year old daughter. If she runs, he’s beside her. If she drops a crumb, he materializes. If she’s plotting mischief, he’s already on the committee. Ollie isn’t just fun at home, he’s an absolute star out in the world. He spends his weekends at farmers markets, trails, and busy public spots, and he thrives in it. He loves meeting people, especially kids, greets other dogs politely, and will happily sit and wait while you chat. He would make an incredible companion for someone who wants a dog by their side for everything. Hiking, running, patio hangs, markets, camping trips, daily adventures… Ollie is ready. If you live an active, dog-friendly lifestyle, he’s your perfect sidekick. When he’s not out adventuring, Ollie turns into a cuddle blanket. He melts into couches, flops into beds, and tucks himself into his crate like it’s his personal spa. He LOVES his crate. He knows “sit” and “down”, walks nicely on leash, and is overall a very good boy… except when it comes to recall. He hears you. He considers it. He chooses chaos. He believes he is the neighborhood security system when it comes to squirrels and birds. He doesn’t chew furniture, but the trash can is his greatest temptation. Ollie is not apartment compatible. He needs a yard, an active family, and ideally a dog companion. He would do great with someone who works from home and would thrive going to daycare regularly. If you want a dog who is 50% cuddle, 50% chaotic good, and 100% comedy, Ollie is your guy. He’s house trained, crate trained, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to boost your serotonin daily. Apply to adopt Ollie at luckylabrescue.com!
