Story
Memphis is a super sweet 6 years old pup who is incredibly adorable and loving with a super calm and soothing disposition. He loves dogs, cats, children and anyone you name it. Memphis loves his best friend Oliver the kitty and spends most of time with him. He also loves his foster canine sisters Echo and Maddox and chill with Echo when he is not with Oliver. He will love to be in a home with both doggie and kitty siblings. He is healthy, happy, and ready for his forever home. Please send an application to adopt via savesomesouls.com and we usually get back to you within 24 hours. Memphis came from a high kill shelter where he was a staff favorite. His vets love him, his foster parents adore him and he will make a lucky parent very happy. He is a perfect 10 according to his foster parents. Memphis is 66lb, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea prevention. He is currently being fostered in Texas but can be transported to most states, and even Canada for the right home. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving, and friendly pup to add joy to your life, Memphis might be your perfect match 🐾💙 Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. To meet this amazing pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Memphis' adoption fee of $300 includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, and Harness. Transport fee from Texas is between $200 - $300 depending on the destination. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.

Zane is a total heartthrob with a personality as bright as his smile! This 3-year-old boy is the full package — sweet, affectionate, calm and full of love! Whether he’s goofing around with his friends, soaking up attention, or showing off his happy tail wags, Zane is pure sunshine in dog form. ☀️ Zane was brought to a high kill Houston shelter as a stray alongside his buddy Rascal and the two have been nothing short of amazing together. Their sweet and loving disposition bought them a ticket to life and they were rescued. Zane and Rascal can be adopted together or separately. Either way, this handsome boy is so ready to bring endless fun and affection to a lucky forever home. Zane is about 3 years old, and currently weighs 63 lb. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. He is currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. Story
1 year old stunning blue-eyed beauty, Sugarbaby is a fun-loving, affectionate girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart! While she may come off a little unsure at first in a busy kennel environment, it doesn’t take long for her true, sweet nature to shine. Once she feels comfortable, she blossoms into a wiggly, happy pup who just wants love and attention. This social butterfly is incredibly people-friendly—she’ll happily come up for pets, lean in for affection, and even shower you with playful bows and excitement. Sugarbaby thrives on human interaction and quickly forms a bond with her people. She’s also a very dog-social girl who enjoys the company of other pups. She does not mind kitties either. Sugarbaby has a high energy level and loves to play—especially roughhousing, zooming around the yard, and engaging in silly, bouncy play sessions. Sugarbaby is happy to share toys and doesn’t mind when they’re taken from her. She is still a puppy and will do best in an active home that can give her plenty of exercise, playtime, and love. With a little guidance and consistency, she’s going to make an incredibly fun, loyal, and joyful companion. If you’re looking for a playful, loving pup who will keep you smiling and on your toes, Sugarbaby is your girl! 🐾💛
