I was found as a stray, and no one ever came to claim me, so now I`m dreaming of a second chance at a forever home! Not much is known about my past, but the people taking care of me here are getting to know me day by day; I am very friendly and have an outgoing demeaner. I`m a larger dog, weighing in at 56 pounds. With the help of the shelter, I am now fixed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped! All I need now is your open arms and your loving home. If you are interested in me and have other dog friends at home, we`ll definitely want to set up a meet between us - which you can call the shelter to set up! I am so sweet, and I have so much love to give. I love curling up under a warm blanket for a nap and spending quiet time close to my people. I’m especially fond of human cuddles and will happily soak up affection once I feel comfortable. Hi there! I`m Lucy, a 3 year old and 57lb pup. I`m the SWEETEST girl ever staying at the Blue Mountain Humane Society searching for my fur-ever home. I came to the shelter originally as a stray, but was recently surrendered at no fault of my own. Since being at the shelter, I`ve been very shy and nervous, but it doesn`t take long for me to warm up to you once we`ve spent time together! I love head scratches and I can be quite the cuddle bug. I`m overall very well mannered, I walk well on a leash, and I don`t seem to be bothered by other dogs on walk, but I would prefer to be in a single pet household. Hello, I`m Phoebus! I`m an excitable and playful 89lb pup here at the Blue Mountain Humane Society! I graduated from training at the Washington State Penitentiary! Additional training will be a blast! I`m still looking for a place to call home. I have lived at the shelter for almost half of my life! I`m incredibly sweet and love to be close to my people.I just yearn for a family full of love and patience! I will thrive in an environment where I have plenty of space to run and chase tennis balls! I can fit two in my mouth at once! I prefer a tall fence around my yard, so I can`t practice my jumping or climbing skills. I`d also be a wonderful dog to take on long walks and hikes! Ideally I`d go to a home where I am the only pet! If you`re interested in giving me a chance, fill out an application on the Blue Mountain Humane Society website and come say hi!Because, I`m a long stay dog at BMHS, a trainer in the community has offered to do FREE dog training upon my adoption.
