Story
Hi there! My name is Lady Bird and I’m a 8 year old, 58lb pup with a gentle soul. I may need a little moment to feel safe when we first meet, but give me a moment and you’ll see that my sweet, loving personality really opens up. I’m calm and curious about the world around me, taking things in at my own pace. On walks, I’m easygoing and gentle on the leash, making me a pleasant companion for quiet strolls. I love to go for trips in the car and prefer to ride in the front seat right next to my person. A walk to the park is my idea of a fun day out, and I love rolling in the grass! I am spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated so I`m all ready for my next chapter. If you’re looking for a kind, soft-hearted pup who will blossom into a loyal and loving friend, please fill out an application on our website and come to down to the BMHS shelter to say hello. I’d love the chance to meet you!

Charlotte is ready to find her forever home! 🏡 She’s about a year old, spayed and up to date on shots. She is a sweet and enthusiastic pup. She is completely potty trained and doesn’t show signs of separation anxiety. She would love an active owner who will invest time into training and exercise. She would do best in a home without cats or other small animals as she will chase them. Charlotte can’t wait to be someone’s new BFF 🫶💓

Story
Hi, I`m Thunder! I`m 1 year old, weigh 62 pounds, and while my name might sound like a big, bold storm, I`m really just a sweet, gentle guy looking for my forever family. Right now, I`m participating in the Washington State Penitentiary Training Program, where I`m learning new skills and building on everything I already know. I can`t wait to show off all I`ve learned when I return to Blue Mountain Humane Society! I can be a little reserved when we first meet, but once I get to know you, I`m an affectionate, loyal companion who loves being by your side. I`m a smart pup who already knows several commands, including `sit,` `paw,` `wait,` `down,` and `load up.` I also ride wonderfully in the car and am always excited to tag along on new adventures. I`m a quiet passenger, but I`ll happily come over for a gentle nuzzle and a few pets along the way. I love going for walks and taking in all the sights and smells around me. Whether I`m stopping by a creek for a cool drink, checking out the sprinklers, or exploring a new trail, I`m always curious about the world around me. I stay calm and well-mannered when passing people, children, and other dogs, making me a wonderful companion to bring along wherever the day takes us. My friends describe me as quiet, gentle, and incredibly loving. Once I trust you, I`m more than happy to soak up all the affection you have to offer. When it`s time to play, tennis balls and Kongs are some of my favorite toys, but at the end of the day, I`d gladly trade them for cuddles and quality time with my favorite people. If you look into my gorgeous eyes, you`ll quickly see just how sweet I really am. With the help of my friends at Blue Mountain Humane Society, I`m neutered, microchipped, and current on all my vaccinations, so I`ll be ready to head home once I complete my training program. If you think we could be the perfect match, fill out an adoption application on the Blue Mountain Humane Society website! The adoption team will be happy to reach out with more information about my return from the Washington State Penitentiary Training Program. If you already have a dog at home, please schedule a dog introduction so we can make sure we`re a great fit. I can`t wait to meet you and start our next adventure together!
