Story

Maddie has been a good dog. We’ve had her for 13 years. At this age she needs more attention than we can give her. She has been acting out for 8-12 months where she destroys things when we are not home. We keep her in a heated garage now when we are not home and she will knock down garbage bins, ladders, tools, anything she can get into. We are concerned she is going to hurt herself. When we are around her she is fine and very sweet and loving. She just wants to be petted all day. She has grown up with kids and another dog and has been fine with both. She is aggressive to dogs she does not know but that has subsided a bit with her old age. She would make a great dog for someone who is home more often than us. She is healthy and has had yearly vet checkups with no health issues. Looking for a good home for her to “retire” comfortably. Her kennel, bed, food dishes, etc. can go with her.

Luna is a beautiful, loving, loyal gal, looking for a place to call her own. Her previous owner loved her very much and only surrendered due to housing restrictions. They described her as an active, independent, fearless, talkative, playful watch dog who loves attention, and children. She loves to play, especially tug!! She would love to join you on adventures.. whether it`s just for a car ride, or somewhere she can stretch her legs. She comes a runnin at the sound of chip bag crinkle, so you`ll never have to snack alone!She has lived with dogs in the past, and seems to not mind most of the dogs here at the shelter, but meet & greets will be necessary with any future canine sibling. She has done well keeping her kennel clean here, so should adjust quickly to a new home with some patience and routine. Could Luna be the light of your life? Delilah came to the shelter with her 3 pups and is excited to start a new life. She has lived with dogs and cats in the past and has also been around young children and did well with them. She’s a silly lady with an adorable personality! If left outside to herself, she self-occupies by finding a way out of her yard and you will find her roaming around the dog yard sidewalks. She’s happy to get attention, snacks, and a good walk in with our staff/volunteers. If you’re looking for an exceptionally addition to your family, this gal may be a perfect fit for you!
