Kobe came to me after his owner unexpectedly passed away. He was loved and spoiled and is looking for his forever home that will continue to love and spoil him. -8 years old (birthday in Nov) -Loves hard and is beyond loyal. He will love his person/people with his whole heart and will follow you EVERYWHERE you go. -Amazing with kids of all ages. (Including babies) -he's looking for a family that will let him cuddle in bed with them and on the couch. -LOVES car rides. -he is amazing at matching energy levels. Want to have a lazy day? So does Kobe, he'll lay around all day if you let him. Want to go for an adventure? Kobe is up for it. -loves playing fetch with his tennis ball. ***Quirks*** -has chicken and turkey food allergies. Does better with salmon dog food. -he has separation anxiety but is now on medication to help ease his anxiety. Would be best in a home where he's not left alone all day.

Story

Fiona is a 6-year-old chocolate lab, who has been part of our family since she was 5 months old. She's a very friendly dog, enjoys the outdoors (especially the water and snow!), and loves attention (and belly rubs!). She's also very energetic and is always ready to greet people! Fiona is potty-trained and has been trained to be outside on a leash, but also does well in a fenced area. When it comes to interacting with other dogs, she does well and usually keeps to herself. Fiona has never been exposed to cats (or any other pet besides other dogs). I am looking for a new home for Fiona...an adopter that is looking for a long-term family pet. She is very energetic and active, so an adopter who is seeking a furry friend with lots of energy and excitement will be a suitable fit for her.

Clifford is a 9 year old good boy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. While he is older he still loves to play like a puppy. Clifford was a stray rescued off the streets of Milwaukee and has lived with us for the last 4 years. For his next owner I would like to see someone with experience with large dogs with confinement anxiety and someone with children older than 5.

Autumn is 5 1/2 years old. She is some sort of cattle dog we believe. I rescued her as a puppy. She was a struggle dog training her and raising her as she had severe separation anxiety. She has turned out to be an amazing dog. She does shed a fair amount, which tend to cause serious allergies for my wife. It has came to the point where rehoming is in our best interest as we have a child on the way. Autumn deserves an owner that will shower her with love and has free time with her.

Lily is looking for an experienced dog owner to provide structure and snuggles! She'd do best in a home without kitty-cats as she likes to give chase and play! Lily does well with most dogs, when given a proper and slow introduction. She is a little wary of newcomers, but blossoms quickly when allowed patience to adjust on her terms. Lily loves to bestow sloppy doggie kisses upon her favorite caretakers. She just enjoys human company! Lily would excel in a home with a fenced yard so can chase after toys to her heart's content. Chip is house-trained, has excellent manners, and does well when left alone. He’s also a pro on a leash and knows his commands like a seasoned gentleman. Whether he’s chilling in his crate or relaxing in the house, Chip keeps his space tidy and his vibes low-key. While he’s a bit selective about other animals, he has shown to be relaxed around cats. Chip’s heart has grown big enough to welcome new human friends—he’s come a long way in learning to trust strangers and even enjoys interactions with them now! Tennis balls are his absolute favorite toy (a classic choice for a refined fellow like him), and he’ll happily fetch or chew the day away. At the sanctuary, Chip has been well-loved and happy, but as they say, “there’s no place like home.” He’s looking for a calm, low-traffic environment where he can be the only pet, ideally with no young kids. Chip thrives in a peaceful setting where he can soak up love and companionship. Though he had a mistrust of strangers as a younger pup, Chip has worked hard to overcome it and has made amazing progress.
