Carl is good with my son who is a young teenager. My son picked him out from a litter that my mom from her dogs but he stayed at my mom's. My mom became hospitalized therefore, we have to rehome Carl and a couple of his friends as we cannot have that many dogs. Carl is a good boy but he is young and has lots of energy due to his breed and age. He loves getting petted and aying with toys. He is around 2 years old.He needs a loving home where he can get exercise and lots of.love and attention. This breed is known to be one of the smartest dogs.

Story
Hi there! My name is Flynn Rider (yes from Rapunzel). I am energetic and love to go on walks, play fetch you name it. My only issue is I am territorial of my people. I'm a lovable dog, but strangers put me on alert. My owners have kids, I love them (but not their friends). So, I should probably go to a home with either an older couple who doesn't have small children, or a single person. Again, I am loyal, but almost too loyal. If you would like to meet me, please reach out to Eric, he's cool. I eat Canidae food twice a day, but I am small, so a bag lasts a while. I love my ball. Dorothy takes me on walks, I get a treat if I sit and don't mouth off to any passer-by. Well, that's my story! So, if you're looking for a companion with roguishly good looks, loyal to the bone, and a snuggler let's meet!

Story
Vanilla Ice is a sweet boy with big energy! Vanilla is ready to find his new home. He was returned to SWCHS due to not enjoying being with cats. He found them more of a play toy than a compatible roommate. Vanilla Ice is looking for a home that can be active and stimulate his mind through exercise and enrichment. He would do well in a home with children that are respectful and a bit older as Vanilla is just over 70 pounds of pure excitement. If you are interested in adopting Vanilla Ice, please fill out application at the link below: https://www.swchs.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Hello my name is Tick! I am a 3 year old large mixed breed that came into SWCHS as a stray. I do take some time to get comfortable with new people and would need some patience, however once I trust somebody I am very sweet. I do have barrier reactivity to other dogs, so a meet n greet needs to go slow if other dogs are in the home. I have gotten along well with calmer, large breed, male dogs one-on-one and do like to play (awkwardly) but a slow introduction with an easygoing dog is recommended. I really love going on walks and am pretty calm most of the time. I would do best in a home with children over 13 years old per my size. Overall, I'm very good girl that has a lot of love to offer who'd love to find her a home who understands some dogs take a lot of patience and time to adjust to new people and surrounding! Please fill out an application and set up a meet n greet!

Story
Hello my name is Taz! I'm a 2 year old, mixed breed who came into SWCHS as a stray. I am an energetic, playful boy who loves to take walks outside and get butt scratches and belly rubs! I am a smart pants and very well house broken. I would do well in an active home with older children who can help me get my daily exercise, but I also settle down well once it's quiet time. I am dog particular, so a prior dog meet and greet before going home is required. I seem to do best with more submissive, female dogs! If you are interested in me, please fill out an applicating and schedule a meeting with me!

Story
Hello! I'm Axel! I am a cuddle bug who LOVES toys, tennis balls, and being with my people! I would be a perfect-sized travel companion for someone who lived on the road or similar as I prefer the company of people over other animals. She absolutely can not be around or housed with other animals. It is highly recommended that she be a single animal home, and or could have a professional trainer work with her behavioral quirks if that is something you are interested in. Otherwise, she is a wonderful, squishy-faced pup needing a home! Please apply and schedule a meet-and-greet!
