Story
Talia is a sweet, 2.5-year-old terrier-Weimaraner-Lab mix originally from the Texas streets who was thrilled to find out life could be so great in Wisconsin. She’s currently living in a subdivision, but what she really wants is more room and more freedom. At heart she’s a country gal seeking a country home. Talia’s favorite activity is hunting. If you need vermin controlled to keep your vegetable garden, flower beds, or property free of critters, she would love to be considered for the job. Talia’s brown eyes and scruffy tuxedo will melt your heart. She’s happy to go anywhere and do anything. She absolutely loves dog parks, hiking, camping, and hanging out on the fishing dock. She’s not aggressive with other dogs and loves to play chase at the dog park. She rarely barks, even when other dogs walk by out on the street. She rarely barks, even when other dogs walk by out on the street. She is good with kids. She has completed basic obedience and quickly learns commands.

Story
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING Forever Friends Great Dane Rescue adopts to qualified homes in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Kala is almost 3 year old Dane/mastiff mix that was born in rescue and adopted. She was recently returned because her owner said she wasn’t getting along with their other dog. She has been with us in foster care and is doing well. She has met and played with other dogs. She does need slower introductions due to the lack of socializing as a pup. She also can resource guard her toys but her foster mom is working on that and she is doing well with correction. She loves to cuddle with her humans. The Dane in her hates being cold or wet. She is very much a princess and loves to get her beauty sleep. She also loves to eat and will flip her bowl when she is hungry. More pictures to come. Can you find it in your heart to consider this big beautiful girl? PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING Forever Friends Great Dane Rescue adopts to qualified homes in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Meet Diesel and Berkeley! This senior bonded care came into rescue from a county shelter that had no luck finding them a new home. We do not have much information about their past, but a sweeter pair of Danes does not exist. Diesel and Berkeley are looking for a forever home that appreciates their lower energy levels and love of comfy beds. Due to their age, they would do best in a home without kids or other dogs. They have not been around cats but they do love to chase squirrels. Do you have room in your heart for a couple of senior love bugs? Forever Friends Great Dane Rescue adopts to qualified homes in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Meet Tilly! Tilly is a sweet, easy-going girl with a fun personality. She is happy to be lazy or happy to be outside chasing squirrels. Tilly does need some help learning good manners on a leash but she is responsive to training so we are confident with some consistent work she'll get there. She would do well in a home by herself or with another dog, she currently has a 6 year old Great Dane foster brother that she enjoys playing with. Does your home have room for this big goofball?

Forever Friends Great Dane Rescue adopts to qualified homes in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Salem is a 3 year old black and white Great Dane. She is a petite girl. Salem came to us from a shelter where she had been for a couple of months. She was emaciated at the time. Her life has not been great but her spirit is good. She is a gentle natured girl who loves attention. This girl is so deserving of a loving forever home. In the last couple of weeks Salem has put on 8 lbs. and is looking so much healthier. She is very food motivated. She hasn’t had much training but she picked up Sit and Shake very quickly. She’s a smart girl that is eager to please. She is not crate trained. We are working on it but her separation anxiety has made it difficult. It’s a work in progress. Salem didn’t seem to really know how to interact with other dogs. Her foster siblings have been teaching her how to play. She has discovered that’s a lot of fun! She gets along well with all of the dogs she has met. People are her favorite. She knows how to get all of the affection she wants In the near future hopefully Salem will get to meet some kids to see how she interacts. Overall she’s a pretty calm girl with a laid back temperament. She would love a home with a friendly canine sibling and someone who is home with her a lot.
