Story
Hello my name is Tick! I am a 3 year old large mixed breed that came into South Wood County Humane Society as a stray. For over a year now I have been patiently awaiting for someone or a family to adopt me. I'm going to need a home that has patience. I do well with everyone, I just need the time to adjust to newer people. I enjoy long walks and treats. I'm very laid back and enjoy cuddling. Due to recent meet and greets, in my search for a new home, it is important that I go to a home as an only dog and no children. Overall, I'm very good girl that has a lot of love to offer who'd love to find her a home who understands some dogs take a lot of patience and time to adjust to new people and surroundings. Please come get to know me a little more by taking me for a walk or even just sit in the grass with me. My adoption is $250. It covers my spay, vaccines and other medical needs while here at SWCHS. Fill out an application at: https://www.swchs.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Hello, Im Axel.Staff love me here but they think it's time I find my forever home! I would be a perfect-sized travel companion for someone who lived on the road or even someone who had a large backyard for me to run. I enjoy getting my exercise by playing catch with some tennis balls in the play yard. I'm a pretty big cuddle bug. I would be best fit for a home by myself without other animals unless you are willing to help me with some training. Its not recommended that I be with children under the age of 12 just due to my high energy that I have. Don't those things stop you from choosing me, I will fill your heart with all the love I have! I'm definitely ready for someone to scoop me up.
