Story
Monte is an adorable senior who loves dogs and people. He came from a horrible neglectful situation and now would like the opportunity to enjoy life and his golden years. Monte loves laying in the grass basking in the sun. But his favorite place to sleep is in your bed! He likes to play and run around the yard, his favorite game is chasing after you, a bit of slow motion on his part. Monte will let you know when he needs to go outside but being a bit elderly, he might have a little leak on the way. Monte is looking for a calm home with lots of love and gentle care. We do not know if he has ever been around children so older teens should be ok for him. A gentle calm dog would be a good companion for him. A cat might also be OK. Monty weighs 50#, is house trained (mostly) is current on his vaccinations, micro chipped and is heart worm negative. His adoption fee is $100+tax, If you are interested in meeting/adopting Monte please fill out a dog application on our website. www.hspcwi.org The approved adopter will be notified for an appointment within three days. All dog adoptions come with copies of all medical records, a leash, collar, toys and 3 days of food.  June 12, 2026, 7:56 pm

Story
Chancellor (25811) is a big lovable goof ball. He will need a special home with adults that have dog experience, patience and are willing to teach and work with a deaf dog. Chancellor would like a home where he gets all of the attention, no other pets. Once he knows you, he will be your forever buddy. He is very friendly and lovable to people he is familiar with. He loves playing with his toys and his kiddie pool. A fenced yard would be a plus for him. Chancellor has been adoptable since October 2024 and would love to go to a home. Please take a chance on this wonderful dog. H.S.P.C. stands behind the animals we adopt out. If they don't work out, we will take them back. We believe Chancellor is a dog you should take a chance with. He is deaf but that just puts him in the special needs category, he is not sick. The fact that he can't hear doesn't change his personality. Chance weighs 67#, is house trained, current on his vaccinations, micro chipped and is heart worm negative. His adoption fee is $100+tax, If you are interested in meeting/adopting Chancellor please fill out a dog application on our website. www.hspcwi.org The approved adopter will be notified for an appointment within three days. Nyla is a wonderful, friendly girl, she is a joy to be around. She is a 6-year-old large mix. We are not sure what her mix is. Nyla greets everyone she meets with her sweet smile and friendly enthusiasm. Nyla would be a wonderful addition to a single home or a family with older children. She would prefer to be the only pet. Nyla was adopted and then returned due to her owner moving. She spends some days hanging out in the Adoption Office greeting visitors and laying on her favorite blanket chewing on her favorite toys. Nyla is well behaved in the home, she is house trained, spayed, micro chipped, and current on her vaccines., weighs 71#. Her adoption fee is $100.+tax. I have had Diamond since she was a puppy. We got her from our neighbors who did not want her. She is 5 yrs old, turns 6 years old in September. She’s a sweet dog and has never bitten any people, amazing with kids and very protective. She is not good around cats at all. She’s a sleepy girl and loves to chill on the couch.

Story
Her name is croissant and she is a very loving girl. She has pretty bad separation anxiety and would do best at home with some with her most of the time. Would make a grate family dog as she is very gentle and smart. Big attention hog and a hug appite will eat anything in range. Large drive with lots of energy and like to chase cats and small animals. Good with training but stubborn and will need time has grate potential. Very barktive and could use introduction training. Very sweet once she has been brought over to someone or introduced. Good with other dogs if on leash.(never tested of lead as I’m not very experienced or anything). Croissant was one of my coworkers puppies. He said he couldn’t handle her and show up dropping her off at more door after I just said I couldn’t have another dog. I’m moving in November and my elder dog is very much an only dog kinda girl.
