Name: Beauty Age: 3 Years Old Breed: Lab/Heeler Mix Gender: Female Weight: 40 lbs Good with kids: We would recommend older children because she's skiddish Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: No Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Foster location: Green Bay, WI Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Adoption fee: $300.00 Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Bio: Beauty was pregnant when she was pulled from a terrible hoarding situation. She was able to give birth to 8 beautiful babies in her foster home in Texas. The babies are known as the Galaxy Litter. Beauty joins her 3 remaining babies - Astro, Cosmo, & Venus - in Wisconsin and is now ready for her forever home. Beauty is very timid. She spooks easily and will need nice, slow intros to new things. She is starting to really come out of her shell at her foster home. She enjoys playing with other dogs, stare downs with the cats, and taking naps with you in bed. She does better approaching people when they are sitting or laying. But when they tower over her and walk at her, that can be scary. She needs a family who is willing to give her patience to adjust and let her adapt to a loving home. She's been in survival mode for so long it'll take her a little bit to realize she is safe. She doesn't appear to be a flight risk. She comes in and out of the house on her own. She walks well on a leash but gets very upset if grabbed by the collar. She also has not had any accidents in her foster home since arriving. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Bio: Charlie came from a high kill shelter in Texas and was pulled off the euthanasia list with Molly. Charlie and Molly were thought to be either a Mother / Daughter duo or sisters. But since Texas listed them as the same age we are assuming maybe sisters? In rescue you just can never be sure about things like breed and age but what we do know is Charlie is 100% good girl! She's potty trained. Doesn't require a kennel. She loves to play to include chewing on bones and playing fetch. She absolutely LOVES to ride in the car. She can't be trusted off leash but is doing excellent in her fenced in yard at her oster home. She's very observant with the kitties and plays statue when they come near. I'm Dwight! I am loving life here and ready for a home of my own that's up for adventure and time to play. I'm a great guy if you give me a chance to settle in and figure out my new surroundings and friends. Sometimes I come on a little strong but man, I just love meeting new pals I don't always remember how to act! I love other dogs, playing fetch and having room to run. A human with room and time for me to play would be an amazing setting for me to call a forever home. I'm pretty strong too so I hope my human is ready to occasionally have to use some muscle if I'm on leash and get a little too excited. I'm about 3 years old and fostered in Wisconsin Rapids. Bio: Burber is another dog from the infamous hoarding case in Texas where a man had over 120 dogs on his property. Burber, affectionately called Burber Bear, by his foster family is settling in nicely. He would appreciate a quiet home with a fenced in yard. He loves other animals so that would be a major plus to have some in his forever home. He is very shy so another dog would be instrumental in building his confidence. He is kennel trained but he does not need one. He does not wreck anything. And while he hasn't been brave enough to crawl into bed with foster mom, he does enjoy laying on the pet bed nearby. Bio: Biggie was found dumped in Greenville, TX with many cuts all over his body. He also had ulcers all over his mouth and a blood blister on his manly part. He was definitely a little worse for the wear but OPARI'S partners in Texas nursed him back to health so he could make the trip to Wisconsin in search of his forever home. Biggie is a big ol' beef cake that LOVES humans. Nothing makes our guy happier than to be with his people all day long. Biggie currently lives with several other dogs and since his medical conditions are improving he gets along well with everyone. Biggie rides PERFECT in the car. He walks good on a leash. He absolutely hates his kennel and cries and cries and cries when in there. He can be left out as he does not seem to get into any mischief he shouldn't. He has had a couple accidents because turns out he only wants to go outside if foster mom comes with. You might call him a stage 5 clinger. But we must always keep the 3-3-3 rule in the back of our minds. Just because Biggie acts like this in his first few days does not necessarily define how he will act once more comfortable!
