Story
Hi there! My name is Colleen, and I am an approximately 9-year-old, 50-pound female Siberian Husky mix with a heart full of love.I’m a sweet, affectionate girl who adores people and enjoys being part of a family. I love spending time with other dogs—especially male dogs—and I do best with calm, respectful canine companions. I can be a bit dominant with some female dogs, so I would do best with a male dog or a submissive female. Like a true husky, I’m delightfully chatty and love to “talk,” whether I’m sharing my excitement, asking for attention, or simply joining in the conversation. Some of my favorite things include playing with dog friends, soaking up belly rubs, chasing balls, and enjoying tasty treats. While I haven’t been around kids in my foster home, my gentle and loving nature suggests I could be a wonderful family dog. I would do best in a home without cats.I’m fully potty trained, walk nicely on leash, and have wonderful house manners. I am crate trained, and while I may protest a bit at first, I settle best with soothing classical music and when crated in a room with another dog—having a buddy nearby helps me feel secure and relaxed.Overall, I’m an easygoing, loving husky who would make a loyal, joyful companion. I’m ready to bring warmth, conversation, and lots of love into my forever home. ##2632538##

Story
Jessie is a 2-year-old, 65 lb pit/husky/Great Pyrenees mix with the sweetest, most gentle soul. She is chill, docile, and always wagging her tail. Jessie loves being pet, loves being near her people, and is happiest sunbathing or quietly hanging out by your side. She’s incredibly affectionate and very treat motivated. She can be a little submissive and gets spooked by loud noises, so she’ll do best with a kind, reassuring family. She’s great on leash, potty trained, and crate trained. Jessie is wonderful with dogs of all sizes, great with cats, and loves kids of all ages — including toddlers. She’s truly friendly with everyone she meets.Jessie was found living under a house with her puppies after being hit by a car and breaking her pelvis. X-rays also revealed she had been shot at some point in her life. Despite everything, her pelvis has healed beautifully on its own and her spirit remains incredibly loving. All of her puppies have found homes — now it’s her turn. She is heartworm positive and has started slow-kill treatment. Our rescue provides everything needed to complete her treatment. If you’re looking for a calm, gentle, resilient girl to love forever, Jessie is ready.   ##2628710##

Story
Nico is a 2-year old (as of 2025) light red/white husky that is needed a new home after his family developed severe allergies. He is a friendly boy that was the result of an "oops" litter. He is friendly with other dogs, neutered, and will be updated on shots shortly. He is on heartworm preventative and will be heartworm tested prior to going to his new home. He is respectful of a 5 foot fence, but like any husky needs a secure fence for safety. As with all huskies, we recommend no cats in the home due to prey drive.  ##2314402##

Story
This is Willow Grace! She is approximately 5-6 months old and is approximately 25 lbs. The shelter guessed that she is a Husky Lab mix. Willow is VERY energetic and LOVES to run. Her favorite place to be is out in the yard with a nice stick.Willow is house and kennel trained and knows basic commands such as sit and wait. Willow walks well on a leash, and loves to go on long walks. Willow has never met a stranger which can sometimes get her in trouble. Willow would do best in a home with no cats as she does not realize that they are much smaller than her. Willow loves other dogs but still does not know boundaries so at times can be overwhelming to a calmer smaller dog. All in all she is just a sweet girl with a whole lot of energy. She would do best with a family that is very active. She is very smart and would thrive in an environment that keeps her entertained. At the end of a busy day she is an amazing cuddle buddy.

I didn’t plan on giving him up.His name is Rex, and he’s the kind of dog who makes people stop mid-sentence just to smile. He’s and amazing dog who will always follow you and is very inquisitive. He loves play times and guests.I have an obligation that is months long and dont allow pets. I would hate to hire a sitter to just check on him once a day as he’ll be bored.I have his kennel, some toys, a fur remover machine, food container that I’ll be giving out too*Comes with his food for a month and toys*Willing to meet up to see good match. (You don’t have to meetup in Denton if it’s too far, I can drive midway)

Story
This is Echo! He is a sweet 11-year-old neutered male Husky. He loves other dogs but does prefer females. He has spent time at doggie daycare and been boarded several times. I believe he is up to date on his vaccines. He has also been groomed within the last 3 weeks. He's not a fan of riding in the car but all he does is whine. He is dog door trained but will use a pee pad if given no way to go outside! He is not a barker or escape artist like most Huskies. He loves to just lounge around the house and chew on treats.
