Story
Meet JD! JD isn’t just another rescue dog, she’s the kind of companion who picks you and never looks back. Found alone and clearly abandoned, JD has shown just how resilient and full of heart she is. Since arriving in foster care, she’s bonded closely with her foster family and their dog Ingrid, proving she’s not only loyal but also deeply affectionate once she feels safe. JD is smart, crate trained, potty trained, and thrives on structure. She’s recently been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, she's healthy and ready for her forever home. Active lifestyle? She’s all in. JD is athletic, energetic, and would make a fantastic adventure buddy for someone who enjoys hiking, running, or exploring the outdoors. She’s quick to learn and eager to please, especially when there’s a routine and some positive reinforcement involved. She’d do well as the only dog or with a calm, well-mannered canine companion. Her main area for growth is reactivity,  she can get overstimulated around other dogs and in chaotic environments like busy streets. That said, she’s already showing that, with the right support and consistency, she can work through it. JD will thrive with someone who can match her energy and provide the patience and stability she needs. Once she trusts you, she’s all in — loyal, loving, and ready to be your sidekick through it all. Jane will be vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Meet Xarpo! Meet Xarpo, a young female Husky mix named after the Greek goddess of fall—and just like her namesake, she’s absolutely stunning. Everyone who meets her can’t help but comment on her striking beauty, but it’s her fun-loving spirit that truly wins hearts. Xarpo may be initially shy and nervous with both people and dogs, but she warms up quickly, revealing her playful, energetic, and affectionate personality. She is a social butterfly at heart and hasn’t met a dog she doesn’t like. She would thrive with a dog companion her size or larger, as she can be quite rambunctious and energetic—perfect for dogs who enjoy active play and puppy energy. Xarpo is learning her manners and basic commands, including polite play, not jumping, and proper interactions with both people and dogs. She does well in her crate overnight, though during the day she much prefers to be out and about, as any active Husky mix would. She’s in the process of house training—she’ll go outside when asked but occasionally forgets when she’s busy playing. She has seen cats but hasn’t been trained to live with them, as she’s far more interested in her canine friends. Not suited for apartment living, Xarpo can be vocal and needs space and activity to thrive. With her adventurous spirit, she’d make a fantastic running or hiking partner. Xarpo is ready to find her forever family—one that appreciates her beauty, nurtures her confidence, and gives her the active, loving life she’s meant to live. Could she be your perfect fall goddess?  Xarpo is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Story
Meet Luka, an adorable and gentle Pitsky male. He is healthy and up to date with all his shots. He is already neutered and weighs about 90 lbs. He is currently being fostered by me and I’d love to find him a good and loving home. He is extremely gentle and low maintenance. He likes to go on walks/hikes and sleeps majority of the time in the house. He does not have any behavioral issues and does great with kids and most dogs. He could be a bit shy and reactive around new dogs so it might be the best for him to be the only dog in the household.

Story
Ghost is a very sweet and well mannered 7 year old husky. He has been with me since he was a puppy and has been very adaptable to a wide variety of living situations, living with lots of people, in big and small spaces, with larger and smaller animals and with other dogs and children. He loves cuddles, playtime, and walks, and will be super happy if you are a runner! He can be a bit of an escape artist if he is bored or lonely but keep him company and he will thrive. He has even functioned as an emotional support dog for abuse victims and done a very good job. For the last 5 years he has had another dog as a companion and has been very good about helping her learn doggy manners, and will do best in a home with other dogs rather than being the only one. He also grew up with a cat and is very sweet with them. Please help Ghost find a loving home !

Story
Zeus is a happy, fun-loving 3 year old boy. I got him when he was a puppy and am heart broken to have to let him go. He is very friendly and great with other dogs. He is perfectly healthy, his only issue is that he's pretty anxious in really busy areas. Looking to find him a nice loving family preferably with a backyard!
