Story
Hi, my name is Sour Patch! I was born on January 10, 2023. I am about three years old. My people say I am a husky mix. I weigh 50 pounds. I came into rescue after a nice young man found me and my two littermates Milky Way and Airhead playing in a drainage ditch. He took us home to his family and they are fostering us until we find our forever homes. I am both house and crate trained. I walk well on a leash and love to be out and about. I would love to try my paw at some hiking! I am a husky and I am made for colder climates. It’s in my DNA. I am a super sweet boy. I like to play and snuggle. My foster family has done a great job socializing me. I love everyone I meet. I always have a smile on my face! Why not?! Life is grand. I am super handsome also. Did anyone mention that? I know a few commands. Sit, stay and place. I learn things very quickly. I have been around cats and did well. I have been around older children and do well. My foster home has age 10 and up. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you are interested in giving me a forever home please email adopt@thezoeygroup.com

Story
Hi, my name is Buckeye and I was born February 10, 2023. My people say I am a husky/lab mix. They have had my DNA checked. I was abandoned out in the country. A nice man came and gave myself and a few littermates a safe place to stay. I am a super sweet boy. I like to be around other dogs. Maybe my new home will have other friends for me to play with. I am house trained and crate trained. I walk pretty well on leash. I ride well in a vehicle even though I have only done this a few times. I would love to be with an active family that would take me out on big adventures. I am a healthy guy and if you are looking for a new fur baby, I may be the one. I am up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped Please contact adopt@thezoeygroup.com for adoption application instructions.

Story
Meet Watermelon Sugar! This beautiful girl is waiting for a family who will love her exactly as she is… a family who will look past her blindness and see the incredible light she carries inside. She may not see the world with her eyes, but she sees it with her heart—and her heart is pure magic. She is gentle, low-energy, and so wonderfully independent. New places can be scary at first for her, but with soft voices, patience, and repetition, she blossoms. She listens to the world in a way we can’t even understand—using echoes, tiny vibrations, and instinct to learn her surroundings. And once she learns them? She moves with confidence, grace, and such quiet courage that it will take your breath away. She is sweet, smart, and endlessly loving. She adores kids. She loves other dogs, especially tiny puppies who make her tail wag. She is food-motivated, cuddly, and melts into your arms the moment she feels safe. Her husky coat just needs a little brushing, but her soul needs something deeper—a gentle, patient home that will give her the love she has always deserved. She is not a burden. She is not broken. She is a miracle in fur, waiting for someone to finally choose her. If you open your heart to her… she will open a whole world of love back to you. She is approximately four years old (DOB: 2/18/22) and weighs 40 pounds. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.

Story
Hi my name is Duke! I am approximately three years old and weigh 55 pounds. Just in case you couldn’t tell, I am a husky. I am a very loving guy. I have been around children and done great. I do get a little excited and jump up so it might be better if the home had older kids. I am all about the love and get excited. My people say I have a great demeanor. I love everyone I meet. I am leash trained and love to be out and about and smell the roses. I am house trained and crate trained. I get along well with other dogs. I have never been cat tested and my people say no to a home with furry felines. I am very smart and quite curious. I love my toys. I came into rescue after my friend Chloe and I were found wandering around a neighborhood. My foster mom tried to reunite us with our family but did not have any luck. Chloe has been adopted and I was sad to see her go. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and healthy. To apply to adopt please send an email to adopt@thezoeygroup.com

Story
Hi, I’m Esperanza! But my foster family calls me Spranza. Let me guess, my eyes caught your attention, didn’t they? Yeah, I get that a lot. One blue, one brown. A little wild, a little soulful. Just like me. I’m roughly a 6 year-old Catahoula/Husky mix with a love for the outdoors and an even bigger love for you. I’m the kind of girl who wants to be where the action is, hikes, walks, backyard zoomies, but after that I’ll happily melt into the couch with my head in your lap. I’m equal parts adventure buddy and couch potato extraordinaire. I’m crate trained, housebroken, and I know a few commands like “sit,” “shake,” and “kennel.” I also know how to get extra treats with "the look", you’ll see. I’m great with other dogs after a little decompression time, and I’ve even made peace with the chickens here. I just need someone who gets me, someone patient, active, and familiar with dogs who have a little independence and a big heart. I’m not a fan of apartment life. I’ve got a voice, Husky, remember? And a nose that likes to follow where it leads. I’d do best in a home with a secure, fenced yard where I can stretch these legs and then crash on your sofa like a queen. Small kids? Not really my vibe. I’m polite, but I prefer calmer, more predictable environments. Older kiddos who respect my space? We can talk. If you’ve been searching for a smart, snuggly, loyal, and slightly dramatic best friend, I might just be your soul dog. Let’s go home, yeah? Love, Spranza 🐾 If you're interested in adopting me please fill out an application, https://form.jotform.com/theZOEYgroup/ADOPT
