Story
Someone I knew wanted to surrender him to a shelter, I grew to love him and decided to foster him, but I have 3 other dogs and a cat and now a kid on the way, I don't have enough space for him and haven’t been lucky enough to find a good owner for him. He is the BIGGEST lover boy and would never hurt a fly. He is a gentle giant, but since hes still young he gets a little excited. He has been around kids and cats and other dogs his whole life and loves everyone. Like I said he gets a little excited and might scare away a cat, but would never bite or attack anyone or anything. If I could keep him I really would but all my other animals have anxiety and have had them forever, he would be the best to adjust to a new home as he is very easily adjusted. He loves EVERYONE.

Story
Have you ever met a mutt that is just the life of the party, the very center of attention? Charming Chagall is one such dog, he’s a ham who enjoys being the apple of your eye. This dapper gentleman has a coat burnished to perfection with a sweet frosting face, the only sign of his advanced age. This pit/lab mix is treat motivated, meaning you can easily win him over with treats, but he also adores the adoration of his fans – he lives for the applause. So smiles and cuddles and making a fuss will work almost as well as those tasty tidbits. If you think things in your day to day have gotten a bit dull, we can promise that Chagall will lighten it up!

Story
Welcome to the Muttville Diner, where we’re happy to pour you the most delicious chocolatey Milkshake with just a hint of whipped cream around the face and paws. She’s quite the treat for big dog lovers, as Milkshake is a chocolate lab weighing in at about 76 pounds. Her body type is more potato than athlete, so, while she won’t be running a marathon anytime soon, she’s happy to waddle around a few blocks (much like a milkshake, she doesn’t walk so much as flows). As you’d expect, she’s a very sweet girl who loves her humans, and she always has her soulful brown eyes peeled for a treat. Come treat yourself to a Milkshake today! Here's some notes from his foster: Milkshake is a super sweet dog. She's very trusting and we had no issues on walks even when I first picked her up. She's fairly agile, and can jump into a car or onto a bed with no problem. She seems happy to go on long walks with lots of sniffing breaks. At home, she is very calm and does not whine at all. She would watch me cook, and watch me eat. But she doesn't demand food from me. Milkshake is potty trained!

Story
Rex, neutered male, 2 year 6 months, 31-Lbs. If you would like to give REX a forever home, please contact abetterchancerescue@gmail.com OR log onto abetterchancerescue.org to fill out online application About Rex: Rex is a handsome young pup with pleasant personality, he is mellow and friendly by nature. He adapted and thrived quickly in foster care. Being friendly, affectionate, and aimed to please, he can easily befriend strangers and kids; also gets along well with dogs and cats as well. His favorite pastime is hanging out with doggie play pals in the park, car riding and his daily walks. Rex would be a great candidate for any type of family who is looking for a loyal and loving companion pet. Rex’s rescue story: Rex has been wandering in a park for a while before a dog lover noticed him then gave him food. The dog lover is an expatriate in Taiwan who already has dogs at home therefore has no space for Rex. All she can do is to offer food and find support to help Rex. We responded to the request and take Rex into our adoption program. We suppose that Rex used to be a family dog since he is very close to humans, but unfortunately got abandoned. Rex was placed with a foster home after a complete health check. Rex received a clean bill of health and is patiently waiting for his 2nd chance to join his forever home. She is lively and affectionate, but can be stable and well behaved if commanded so; a perfect pup that is loved by everyone in her foster family.
