Story
Millie is a rescue we got for my father in law after his wife passed. She is a super sweet Great Dane/ black lab mix who has been house trained and an inside dog for four years. She is very affectionate and playful and loves to either lay on the couch with you or play fetch in the backyard. She does okay with dogs and kids as long as they don’t hurt her. She has never bit anyone or other dogs. We were told that she was born with a neurological disorder and has a small divot on top of her head, but the only thing out of place about her is that she hardly ever turns left. I’m dead serious, she goes out of her way to just turn right, even if she has to do a circle which we find very cute. She’s an amazing dog and the only we can’t keep her is because my father in law was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and can no longer take care of her.

Story
We rescued Astro from the Milpitas humane society some time last year when he was just a puppy. Astro is a roller coaster of fun and learning experiences. He is a very good boy indoors with all kinds of tricks up his sleeve wether its setting up between your legs ready to walk with you through the busy streets or keeping eye contact till he gets his treat! If you want a lil challenge in your life come say hi! Unfortunately we don’t have enough time on our hands to spend with Astro due to something that’s been taking most of our time and we’ve noticed it’s been affecting Astro slowly but surely. We want him to have the freedom and the attention any dog deserves like long walks outside so he can get used to the world , he can be a little rowdy when we are on walks such as when he notices something in the distance and he’s adamant on figuring out what it is or when he sees another dog . Astro is coachable and he is friendly after the first interaction!

Story
Hershey is about 40 pounds, medium energy, and an absolute sweetheart. The shelter listed her as 5 years old, but we truly believe she is closer to 2 to 3. Meet Hershey *her nose has healed from playing    A happy l, affectionate young girl looking for her forever home. She is a Lab Shepherd mix around 2 to 3 years old with a black and brown coat and the sweetest light brown heart on her chest.   Hershey loves being close to her people. She is a total snuggle bug who will happily curl up on the couch or place herself right at your feet. She is very friendly with everyone she meets and absolutely soaks up attention. Water adventures car rides and being part of whatever you are doing are her favorite things.   She is crate trained and does great crated for 2 to 4 hours during the day and all night at bedtime. She is house trained when let out properly and takes treats very gently. Hershey knows some basic commands and is very food motivated so continued training will be easy for her. She would love a fenced yard where she can run and play.   Hershey gets along with other dogs but can be a little bossy alpha females dogs. She is corrected easily with voice commands. She is great with kids of all ages. She is not great on leash yet but with consistency and treats she can absolutely improve. Watch her video Hershey was pulled from the euthanasia list at Clayton County and deserves a real chance at the family life she has been waiting for.   Perfect family dog. Perfect adventure buddy. Perfect couch companion.   Clayton County Georgia She is definitely a Labrador Retriever, possibly a Shepherd mix. When she plays, that Shepherd energy comes out, and she loves being outside. You can already see her personality blooming now that she feels safe.   So grateful for her foster and for everyone who shared, advocated, and helped make this happen. This is how lives change. ##2603938##
