This is Twix is he a Labrador retriever and and Pitbull terrier mix. He’s a very sweet boy he’s just turned a year old in December. He grew up around cats and other dogs so he’s trained around them. A bit of a background for me, my name is Jonathan Alcazar. Unfortunately im moving out of the the area and to a much smaller space, I won't be able to have the appropriate space or conditions he deserves. He adapted and thrived quickly in foster care. Being friendly, affectionate, and aimed to please, he can easily befriend strangers and kids; also gets along well with dogs and cats as well. His favorite pastime is hanging out with doggie play pals in the park, car riding and his daily walks. Rex would be a great candidate for any type of family who is looking for a loyal and loving companion pet. Rex’s rescue story: Rex has been wandering in a park for a while before a dog lover noticed him then gave him food. The dog lover is an expatriate in Taiwan who already has dogs at home therefore has no space for Rex. All she can do is to offer food and find support to help Rex. We responded to the request and take Rex into our adoption program. We suppose that Rex used to be a family dog since he is very close to humans, but unfortunately got abandoned. Rex was placed with a foster home after a complete health check. Rex received a clean bill of health and is patiently waiting for his 2nd chance to join his forever home. She is lively and affectionate, but can be stable and well behaved if commanded so; a perfect pup that is loved by everyone in her foster family. Rose is quiet and heeds orders, never got into fight with others for food or toys, she’s also an excellent walking companion. Like any young pups, she’s very food motivated, playful and enjoys the company of other dogs, and stays calm around cats. She’s loving by nature, responds to recall very well; she’s potty trained to go outside, also crate trained to sleep overnight; not a barker or chewer when inside the house. Rose being young and playful, she will do best for family looking for a companion pet, or sibling to the existing family dog. About Rose’s rescue: Rose and her three siblings were found cuddling in a box set at the corner of a rundown shed in the suburb. Facing the imminent storm, the rescuer had no choice but to take the pups in and find sheltering homes for them. Rose is full of curiosity and is easy to approach with food. She is friendly and follows command well. She can be easily recalled when running in the park. Rose will be a wonderful companion to a dog loving family! She loves people and is sociable around other dogs and stays calm when meeting cats. She is potty trained and crate trained to sleep overnight; not a chewer or barker. Dolly is most suitable for an outdoor loving family, and/or as an addition to family with dog. Dolly’s rescue story: Driving home during a stormy night, the rescuer spotted a dark moving object in-between the traffic lanes. When she stopped her car to check it out, she found Dolly moving toward her slowly, wagging her tail. She didn’t seem injured but apparently had difficulty moving. Dolly followed the rescuer to her car and off to the hospital they went. The doctor’s diagnostic was that Dolly simply suffered from starvation. Under the care of her foster family, Dolly regained her hearth and received proper training. But being a dog with black color coat has hardly any chance to be adopted by local people. Hopefully Dolly can start her new life aboard. She is a total cuddle bug when around familiar faces. It’ll take her a short while to overcome shyness when encountering strangers. Being a young pup, Molly is playful and curious; sometimes could be a bit rough while playing around young children or cats, though. Molly is a good car rider and has good table manners at meal time. She enjoys the company of other dogs. She’s potty trained to go outside or inside of the house on pee pad; crate trained to sleep overnight; not a barker or chewer when inside the house. Molly will do best for a family with another similar sized dog and backyard. Molly’s rescue story: The first encounter of Molly and the rescuer was when she’s enjoying her beach stroll. Molly was running among many visitors that day. Followed her around, the rescuer found out that Molly was being fed by members of the coastal guard temporarily since she came down from the neighboring mountain region. With the consent of the coaster guard, the rescuer took Molly for a checkup and proper immunization and then placed her under foster care to ready her for adoption. She has a calm and easy-going temperament, enjoys food and toys, plays well with children and other dogs. Rosie is energetic but also follows the lead of her handler; she shares her food and toys with others. She is loving and very close to her human; she enjoys belly rubs very much; could be a bit shy around new environment but warms up quickly with treats. Her favorite pastime is hanging around her humans and daily walks. Rosie’s rescue story: Rosie was raised by a farmer, but little attention was ever given to her. Most of the time she was tied up outside of the house, with no proper shelter, and food was scarce. Finally, the farmer got tired of her and intended to set her loose in the mountains nearby. When the volunteer’s effort of finding her a new home failed, Rosie was sent to the shelter. One day the rescuer visited the place; Rosie’s calmness caught her eyes, and since became a candidate of our overseas adoption program. This is a life changing opportunity for Rosie.
