Story
We adopted Kitty from Facebook marketplace around six years ago. She came from a family that had lots of dogs. When we adopted her, she was sick and had stones so we had surgery done to remove them. Because of that issue, Kitty is on a special prescription food. It just helps her to prevent getting stones again. Kitty is very loyal to her family and loves to be in the same room as you at all times. She is very good with kids however she is not the cuddly type. She loves to play with all of her toys, her light laser and chase things around the house. She doesn’t however, like to sit on your lap she’s a private territorial is her personality so she would be best in a home without other animals. The ideal adopter for Kitty would be an older adult or perhaps a child that has patience and would not demand too much attention. She is litter box trained, however, needs a higher sided box. Kitty is very healthy and is approximately eight years old. My daughter moved so need to rehome her.

Story
About 3 years ago my husband bought what he was told was a 4 month old male cat, from a lady who resided in Minneapolis. We took the cat to the vet & found that the cat was actually female, so we had her spayed & renamed her Biscuit. Biscuit is 3 years & 4 months old, she is a grey tabby. She is very sweet, loves to cuddle with her humans (a lap fur-baby) & loves to be rubbed. She loves sitting in the window, laying in the sun & napping! We are looking to rehome Biscuit because we had a male cat that we got just before we got Biscuit. In the beginning the two of them got along, pretty well. However, recently we had to take in our daughters cat, who is also male and Biscuit cannot get along with the new male cat or our older male cat any more. So, it’s been a really hard decision, but we’ve decided we need to rehome her, in a place that loves cats & will treat her well, but preferably has no other cats. (Does better being by herself). She is well behaved & up to date on all shots.

Although he has always been an indoor cat, he is fascinated by the outdoors and loves watching everything happening around him. He especially enjoys having other cats around and gets along very well with his cat cousins when they come to visit. Having another friendly cat to play with could be a wonderful fit for him. Fiona is a nervous and shy cat. She prefers quiet environments without a lot of activity. She does well one on one with older children who understand she needs to take her time to warm up and to go slow. Fiona does not like to be picked up; she turns into a statue and just wants to move around on her own terms. This goes for lap time and pets too. When she finds her person that is who she wants her affection from. She will let you know by holding her paw up to you, spreading her adorable little beans apart and meowing until you give her attention. She desperately wants to be a lap cat but she is just too nervous in her foster home and any noise would send her away. Fiona was bonded as much as she could be with an older cat whom she came to the house with when she was 6 months but that cat passed away in February. She also does not seem to mind the dog in her foster home, but the dog has always respected cats, is quite old, and does not pay much attention to the cats other than an occasional nose boop. I think she could get on with another cat if they were not the type to assert dominance but she may be happier without other pets. Fiona will hide when company comes. She would leap into the tiny windows in the basement or go under the bed. She would often hide even when there was no company. But she LOVES to look out windows and will chirp when she sees birds or other animals. It is common to get up and find her at night sitting looking out a window and it would be a rare time that she would be so comfortable that she would let her foster family sit near her and pet her for a little bit. She will catch mice with the best of them and she does like to be brushed. Fiona can be very playful and loves laser pointers too. Fiona is a silly cat who would not eat any special treats. Not tuna, not churros and no soft cat food. She wanted her hard kibble and her crunchy temptations treats. She is very vocal and would often have full conversations back and forth with her foster family. When she is comfortable with someone she does like pets from her head all the way to her tail and a good scratch around her neck. She has an elevator butt when getting pets. Fiona has never been a fighter. She will hide, flee or turn into a statue when afraid. Even when afraid she has always been good for the vet, solid as a rock and completely still but not violent and will let them do what they need to do without putting up a fuss. She is loud in the car meowing away. ##2275301##
