Story
This cute boy is in need of a new home. I’ve had Simba for about 2 weeks after adopting him from a previous family and he’s in need of someone who has more free space and possibly children. He’s a very sweet boy who loves to be pet and cuddled. I personally work long 12hr shifts and feel that I can’t give him the attention he requires. Rehoming immediately if possible.

Story
Hi hi! This is Six, he is a little over 1 year old and we are trying to find him a new home. I got him when he was just 4 weeks old and have been raising him alone ever since. Because I am moving to be closer to family, as much as I would love to, I unfortunately will not be able to keep him in my care any longer. Which is why we are looking for a new family for him. Six is a very lively cat, he’s very communicative, friendly, and absolutely loves cuddles. He also is a very social cat and enjoys the company of other animals. He is a little shy and it takes him a while to warm up to people, but he is such a sweetheart once you get through to him.

Story
We have had Sunny since he was 3 months old, and he is now 11. He is a big cuddly cat with many vocalizations. He enjoys being outdoors part of the time even in cold weather, and is a great hunter, jumper and climber. Great bed snuggler. He is very good about using the litter box. For about the past two years, he has had occasional cysts on his face and around his eyes, which the vet says are not cancerous. No special diet, although he enjoys treats and table scraps. He has anxiety about going in the cat carrier to the vet, and would benefit from mild sedation for those trips. He is initially wary of strangers but warms up quickly. Afraid of dogs. Unknown how he would interact with young children.

Story
Mett Flory! Flory was born to an abandoned mom cat in August 2024. This quiet, brown tabby female is friendly with trusted folks, avoidant of strangers, and is affectionate on her terms. She watches for you at the window, greets you at the door, ankle rubs, and follows you. At this stage she doesn’t want to be held or stay in your lap. She enjoys brushing and likes to sit in front of you, watching you. She is treat motivated, Flory plays with cat toys by herself and interactive ones with you. She enjoys watching wildlife out the window. She has met kids and finds them too busy and active, so she hides. Flory would enjoy another cat for a companion after proper introductions. She needs a patient adopter willing to build her trust. She has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/ If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Story
Meet Faith! This mellow, gray tabby female older kitten tolerates being held upright for a short while. Faith is friendly with trusted folks, shy of strangers and is affectionate on her terms. Faith was born to a stray mom cat in August 2024 and she received no medical care for an eye infection, which claimed one eye. She watches for you at the window, and purrs on contact. At this stage she prefers to sit next to you. Faith plays with cat toys by herself and interactive ones with you. She enjoys watching wildlife out the window. She hasn’t met kids, but if they are patient, calm and kind, she should be fine. She would enjoy another cat for a companion after proper introductions. Faith needs a patient adopter willing to build her trust. She has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Story
Fern and her siblings came to us from a local TNR group. All of the kittens were very sick when they first arrived. They had upper respiratory infections, ear infections, and poor little Fern had an extreme eye infection. They were treated and over time have gotten over their kitty colds, ear infections and diarrhea! Unfortunarely, Fern's 3rd eyelid is in a permanently upraised position due to previous eye trauma and infection when she was a neonate. But, the good news is, she can still see and there is no further treatment required at this time!  Fern is very sweet and loves to be around other cats and humans! She loves attention and loves to surrounded by people!  Fern and her siblings Holly and Laurel are felv positive. What does this mean? Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) is a retrovirus that affects the immune system of cats. It can cause an increased chance of other viruses or illnesses and can increase the risk of certain types of cancer to develop. FeLV is only transmissible from cat to cat and is not transmissible to humans, dogs, or other species. Unfortunately, there is no cure for FeLV. While it is impossible to accurately predict the life expectancy of a cat infected with FeLV, several stages of the virus can impact the lifespan by making the cat more susceptible to particular illnesses or diseases. Research has shown that cats that have tested positive as adults tend to live longer than cats that have tested positive as kittens. Regular vet care is recommended for the appropriate management of FeLV. Because FeLV can be transmitted between cats, it is recommended that FeLV-positive cats live as single cats or in FeLV-positive households only. Cats with FeLV should be housed indoors (as should all cats) to prevent the spread of infection to other cats in the neighborhood and to prevent injuries or illnesses. These cats should be fed a high-quality diet and see a vet regularly to catch any illnesses early. It is recommended that you develop a relationship with a vet who is experienced with FeLV. Because cats with FeLV tend to get sick faster than non-infected cats, it is important to take your cat to the vet at the first sign of illness. Fern is available at the Shakopee PetSmart.  Please visit the store to apply for her and take her home! ##2502714##

Story
Hi, I’m Loki. I’m a 3.5-year-old brown and white tabby with a big heart and a playful streak. I love humans and I love other cats, even if I’m a little shy and nervous at first. Once I warm up, though, I’m all about cuddles, playtime, and hanging out with my favorite people. Some of my favorite things? Wand toys, spring toys, and tall cat trees—I could play and climb all day! I do have a bit of anxiety, so I take daily medication to help me feel calm and happy. It really helps me be my best self.  And it's not even very expensive!  It costs less than $1 a day for my meds!  If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and loving companion, I’d love to meet you! I am currently available for adoption at the Maple Grove PetSmart.  Please visit the store to apply for me! ##1634873##
