Meet Raven, a lovely two-year-old mini Australian Shepherd looking for her forever home. This sweet girl may take a little time to warm up to you, but once she does, she'll shower you with affection and cuddles. Raven is an intelligent companion who knows various tricks and loves nothing more than a good game of fetch. She's fully housetrained and comfortable in her crate, making her an ideal housemate. Raven is an active girl who thrives on long walks and outdoor adventures. Her energy and enthusiasm for life are contagious, and she'll surely keep you motivated to stay active. Once you've earned her trust, you'll discover a loyal and devoted friend who will always be by your side. While Raven has many wonderful qualities, she does require a special home that can accommodate her unique needs. Raven hasn't been tested with children, so a home without young kids might be more suitable. She also experiences some separation anxiety, so her ideal family would be able to spend plenty of quality time with her and help her feel secure. Raven has a tendency to bark at other dogs through fences, so her new family will need to consider this and help her with socialization as needed. Raven has also had some challenging experiences with men in her past, which has left her wary of them. Her new family will need to understand this and be willing to give her the time and space she needs to build trust. Safety is paramount for Raven, and she should always be kept on a leash in new environments, as she may try to run off and explore. With the right family – one that can provide patience, understanding, and a stable environment – Raven will blossom into an incredible companion. Meet Lincoln....... Lincoln is an adorable young boy, thought to be a Border Collie Mix. Like Border Collies, he’s very smart, a quick learner, very alert and quite energetic!! At age 9 months, he weighs 38 lbs. It is most important to note that we cannot be 100% sure of his adult weight, but our best guess is about 40ish lbs. This handsome boy joined BAARK from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky earlier this year. He is thought to have been born around December 23, 2022. He was a scared little puppy when entering our rescue program but has come out of his shell and has evolved into a playful, sociable, and somewhat mischievous boy. Lincoln is great with dogs outside of his foster home, but can be protective of his home and human, indoors. Most likely Lincoln would prefer being an only dog, receiving all the attention he deserves. However he could to ok with a calm easy-going female. He would probably be far too energetic for a senior (dog or human!) An ideal family for Lincoln is one able to assimilate the energy of a young boy into its lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Lincoln to be his best self! A secure, above-ground fenced yard is important. Lincoln would not thrive as an apartment dweller. Lincoln is crate-trained and is working on good house manners (housebreaking). He is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is heartworm negative and is on heartworm preventative. He is neutered and microchipped as well. . Libby is sure a unique-looking young girl; how can anyone not love her huge ears!! She is thought to be an Australian Kelpie Mix (possibly with Bull Terrier). She weighs about 30 lbs. Her estimated date of birth is June 5th 2023. Libby is a typical puppy, very energetic and playful. She likes to jump and can sometimes forget herself and be a little too rough with other dogs. But….…she is young and needs to learn boundaries and manners in order to evolve into a wonder family member with a forever family she so deserves.. This sweet pup likes playing with other dogs; she’s great with dogs and would enjoy the companionship of another dog in the home. Most likely, a young or middle-aged adult dog would prefer his company much more so than a senior dog. An ideal family for Libby is one able to assimilate the enthusiasm and playfulness of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Libby to be her best self! A secure fenced yard is required; another younger or middle-aged pup in the family could also be advantageous. Libby is crate-trained and is working hard to improve her house manners (housebreaking). She is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Her spay is included in her adoption fee.
