Story
Annie is so beautiful, and so sweet! This 1ish yr old, 57lb girl needs a running partner! She is a very energetic girl so will do best in athletically active home that will take her on lots of outdoors activities. Running, jogging and hiking would be ideal! She does still need basic training but she is extremely smart and learns quickly. She is also very eager to please, especially if treats are involved! Annie gets along great with other dogs but prefers playmates that are not physical with her. She does not need another dog in the home. Just humans that want to exercise and then cuddle. She is a submissive girl with a wonderful temperament so with a little training and attention, she will become a wonderful family dog. She is crate trained but does need a little more help with her house training. She must have a 6ft, securely fenced yard. Kids must be over 10yrs old. She has not been tested with cats so no kitties please.  If you would like to meet Annie please email info@k9rr.org and include your phone number.May 28, 2023, 5:01 pm

Story
We got Khaleesi as a puppy and have been in love with her for the last 4 years. She is a people pleaser and loves her family. She has been in obedience and recently graduated from a Nose Work class. I plan on having her continue the nose work until she has a new home. She loves to play ball, go for walks and go for car rides. She needs a fenced yard unless there is acreage for her to run on. Unfortunately, Khaleesi has anxiety when it comes to strangers. She is reactive when touched during an episode. She has been on medication for the last 2 years which has helped some. She cannot be with other dogs or animals in the home. She would be better being the only dog. She should also not be with small children unless supervised with the owner and on a leash. We are looking for someone that is experienced that can help her more to get over her anxiety and that will keep her active and busy. Most of all, we want someone who will love her as much as we do.

Story
Quincy is a big puppy goofball! He is mostly blind and deaf and currently working on adjusting to his disabilities but eager to learn. He loves to be active, has learned to play with toys, loves playing in a big dish of water and has energy for days! He will need to be on a routine and slowly adjusted to new things while getting used to his new life. He needs someone experienced and who will continue on his training routines. Quincy takes a doggy one medication daily for life that he happily eats with a little peanut butter after his morning breakfast. This boy is looking for a best friend and will follow you around and lay anywhere he can be touching you. He is currently adoptable and looking for the best fit, his adoption fee is $200! He has no interest in cats, he loves other dogs but needs a break if they're too playful.. Story
Welcome Bleu to CCPAL Rescue. We think he is an Australian Shepherd/Husky. He has a beautiful grey and black brindle color. He has a medium length coat. He is decent on a leash, good in his kennel and friendly. Bleu is a social dog and would make an active family a great companion. He would be a great hiking, jogging or outdoor activity dog. He is playful and fun and will make some lucky family a great companion. His best home would be with someone that likes to do things and include their dog in their fun. He would be fine with kids and we like them to be 8 or older. He is getting his vaccines and will be neutered soon. He is in Texas at the CCPAL Rescue. He was pulled from one of the local high kill animal controls around the shelter. They are all pleading for Rescues to open up space so they don’t have to euthanize. Because of the great adoptions we had space. He can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Bluebell to CCPAL Rescue. She is an Aussie/Lab. She is 2.5 years old. She is 50 pounds and she is pretty good on the leash. She is potty trained and she does good with other dogs. She likes car rides and she has some nice commands under her belt. She knows sit, down, stay and takes treats nicely. She is in a home with a wonderful family that now has to take care of their older mom with dementia. Bluebell is a little big and young for an older lady with dementia so Bluebell needs to find a better home that has time to spend with her walking, jogging and hiking. Bluebell is good with other dogs and she will make an active family a great companion. Her long legs would make her good at keeping stride with a jogger. She is healthy and has had her year long heart guard shot. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Shy Boy to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 12-week-old pup that weighs 20 pounds. He should be a big boy with longer legs. We think he is an Australian Shepherd/Lab. He should be 60 to 70 pounds full grown is our best guess. He came in with Charlie Chaplain and Dora the Explorer. We were told they were siblings. We didn’t see the mom or dad on this litter but Charlie Chaplain looks like a Bernese Mountain dog. This litter are all really big pups. This boy is the tallest and the shyest of the boys. He has a soft fluffy coat and would be fine with children. Older children are always best because they are able to understand how to pet and be gentle with the new puppy. He would be great with another more confident dog or dogs or with a calm, kind patient owner. He is a wonderful puppy but it will take patience to build his confidence. He is not high energy and would be fine with a moderately active family. A person that doesn’t work all day everyday is best for a puppy. He will need to finish his puppy training and will need to continue to be socialized. Taking him places and spending time with him will be great for his training. He is very very sweet and will make some lucky family a great companion. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
