Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Every day, Judd is making incredible progress learning how to “just be a dog.” After spending the first six years of his life at Ridglan Farm in a small metal crate, he had very little experience with the outside world. Since coming into rescue, he has truly blossomed. From taking the lead on walks, greeting new people, discovering his beagle voice, enjoying baths and car rides, and becoming a friend to other fosters, Judd continues to surprise everyone. He is finally learning to enjoy life. Judd loves neck and ear scratches, naps on the softest blankets, and exploring all the smells the world has to offer — very fitting for a beagle! He’s also discovered how delicious pig ears and other treats can be. He has been making great progress with potty training as well. He has met cats and dogs of all sizes and has done wonderfully. He happily wags his tail and runs over to greet his new pals. As expected, Judd can still be a little timid and shy at first, but with patience and a gentle approach, he warms up quickly. Walks are one of Judd’s favorite things, and he usually likes to lead the way, though he’s happy to follow too. When he gets excited, he’ll get the zoomies, bark, and seem to say, “Come get me!”  Judd has even joined his foster mom at work, where he greets friendly visitors and then settles in for naps on his cozy blanket while she works. Judd will need a patient adopter who can continue helping him adjust to normal life, but he is eager to keep learning, growing, and enjoying every new experience along the way.  If you would like to learn more about this dog, please submit an interest form on our website:  https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  Judd has been fully vetted appropriate for age: neutered , rabies vaccine, DHLPP vaccine, 4DX test negative, fecal test, CBC bloodwork, microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention. *PLEASE NOTE: Judd needs a dental cleaning with possible extractions. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   *Foster Home Needed* Poor Wren has gone through some big challenges in life. She was adopted as a puppy and has lived with another dog. Earlier in life she needed 2 acl surgeries (right and left leg), then more recently developed optic neuritis, which has caused her blindness. Blindness has caused Wren to be more reactive, aggressive and her owners have a new baby, so they feel like it is not safe to keep her.  We are looking for a foster home or adoptive home for Wren. They are recommending no other dogs or children. If you have experience with dog vulnerability, reactivity and are sympathetic to her cause, please let us know. Wren is 9 years old and about 35 lbs.  If you would like to learn more about Wren, please submit an interest form on our website:    https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (@8 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dogs actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information and observations we have.*   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 23, 2026, 10:14 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Pixi was rescued from Ridglan Farm by Big Dog Rescue. When she arrived, she had no name—only an ear tattoo for identification. This petite 20-pound, 5-year-old girl was likely used for breeding and possibly research, as she has a small slice missing from one ear. Despite her past, Pixi’s love for people shines through. When Pixi first came into foster care, she was afraid of stairs, floors, and almost everything unfamiliar. In just under two weeks, she has made incredible progress. She’s learning how to “dog” by living alongside several dogs and a cat, taking cues from their calm behavior and slowly building confidence of her own. She gets along wonderfully with the revolving door of pet-sit dogs and absolutely loves the resident cat. Pixi keeps her blanket-covered kennel clean overnight and currently has free roam in the house with regular outdoor breaks. Her foster believes she is house-trained and she is also kennel trained. She’s learning basic commands like “sit” and “off,” while “stay” and “come” are still works in progress. Leash walking is challenging right now, and she does best with a martingale collar, patience, and encouragement. Outside, Pixi’s playful side is beginning to emerge. She enjoys running around the yard and has started engaging in zoomies and play with the other dogs. She’s curious and adventurous, so a fenced yard is recommended. She’s also beginning to show interest in toys. Pixi can still be startled by new experiences—thunder made her tremble recently—but she recovers quickly and continues to gain confidence every day. She’s curious about the neighbor children behind the privacy fence, though she hasn’t directly met kids yet. Pixi is a gentle, resilient soul who has already come so far. With patience, love, and a secure home, she will continue blossoming into an amazing companion.
