Hi my name is Lunchbox but I also answer to Lottie! I absolutely love playing with my puppy brother and sister and my kids (7 and 9)! I wish the cats in the house would play with me but so far they won’t! I’m working hard on potty training and doing great! I'm not super excited about car rides so far but I like to go places and will go in the car if I feel safe. I am a Houdini when it comes to my kennel. If you can figure out how to keep me in it I don’t mind it, especially if I get a special treat when I’m in there! My current foster doesn’t put me in my kennel often so I’m adjusting. I play hard and nap hard like the best healthy puppy! I am ready to complete your home with my snuggles and silly-ness! She was adopted as a puppy and has lived with another dog. Earlier in life she needed 2 acl surgeries (right and left leg), then more recently developed optic neuritis, which has caused her blindness. Blindness has caused Wren to be more reactive, aggressive and her owners have a new baby, so they feel like it is not safe to keep her. We are looking for a foster home or adoptive home for Wren. They are recommending no other dogs or children. If you have experience with dog vulnerability, reactivity and are sympathetic to her cause, please let us know. Wren is 9 years old and about 35 lbs. If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. LILIANA is a 6yo Beagle mix female. This makes her a "low-rider" -- short legs. She weighs 30#s. Liliana is a very sweet and sensitive dog. She likes to lay in the bed with me and snuggle up next to me or sometimes sleep at the foot-rest of my bed. She adopted me immediately and enjoys to be with me. She loves playing with all my dogs from small to big dogs. Liliana thinks she is a “lap” dog. I call her a “couch potato.” She is crate trained; leash trained (very easy); house trained; and loves to go riding in a car or going for a walk. She definitely a human-pleasing dog. She doesn’t have any prey driven instincts when she sees squirrels or cats on the walks. Liliana also has a very sweet attitude towards people in general. As much as we have not had her around children, she is very nice to all ages. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. Rollie was surrendered after his owner died. He had never lived inside until he came into rescue. He is now house and crate trained. He does love to run and play and hide his bones outside. He had very little socialization with other dogs and is a little dog selective (prefers females more than males). He's more of a loner than most. He has always been crated inside to avoid the mischief a beagle tends to get into with chewing items he isn't supposed to be chewing. It is more for his safety of not swallowing anything harmful. He will bark to let you know when he needs to go potty. He has been completely vetted. He deserves a home of his own to retire in and enjoy the rest of his life. 🐾 Meet Luna! 🐾 Luna is a 5-month-old Beagle mix with a sweet personality, an adorable face, and a nose that's always ready for her next adventure! She currently weighs about 20–25 pounds and is expected to stay a nice medium size when she's fully grown. One of Luna's biggest accomplishments is that she's already house-trained using the bell system! She'll ring the bell to let you know when she needs to go outside—a pretty impressive skill for such a young pup. Luna came to us as an owner surrender because she wasn't getting along well with the older dogs in her home. At her age, it's difficult to know whether she was trying to encourage them to play, testing boundaries like many adolescent puppies do, or simply overwhelming dogs that weren't interested in her puppy energy. What we do know is that Luna is still very much a puppy and will benefit from continued training, structure, and appropriate introductions to other dogs. She would thrive with an active family that has the time and patience to continue teaching her good manners, provide plenty of exercise, and help her grow into the wonderful adult dog she's destined to be. Whether she's exploring the backyard, going for walks, or curling up after a busy day, Luna is ready to become someone's loyal best friend.
