Story
Lance is 3 years old, and loves to chill and nap. He is great with kids and adults, and loves cuddling. He is a bit shy at first, but warmed up quickly. I adopted Lance last year before my job schedule changed. I am away from home more than 10 hours a day, and exhausted when I do return home. I love Lance enough to give him a chance at a more active life. ❤️

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Rambler is a Beagle/Lab/Terrier mix (we are guessing!) Who is oh so sweet and good natured. Rambler came to us from a background of hardship. We don't know the full story but was told part of one of his ears was shot off? Was he a stray in a rural area and was shot at? We are not sure, but he came to rescue pretty meek and frightened of humans.  He also came to rescue with heartworm. He was successfully treated for that and has been diligently kept on Heartguard (Tri Heart Plus) since then.  He also has made HUGE progress since being in rescue. He is now more trusting and happy and open. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash and loves to be with other dogs.  We are looking for a home for him with another dog (it helps his confidence) and a fenced in yard.  Rambler is one of those "heart dogs" that just get to you as you watch them embrace the kind of life they were meant to live.  If you want to make a difference in Rambler's life by giving him a loving home, please fill out our form below! Toby's playful nature shines bright as he joyfully prances and pounces, always eager to engage in fun and games with anyone willing to join. He's a true snugglebug at heart, finding comfort curled up next to his favorite humans, preferably under cozy blankets.   This adorable beagle's adventures are guided by his inquisitive nose, craving the scents of the world during his "sniff-ari" walks. While Toby is still mastering his leash skills, his enthusiasm for exploration knows no bounds, especially in a fenced yard where he can roam freely.   Toby comes with a special trait—he's a brave fighter against epilepsy, diligently taking his medication three times a day with the help of treats or spoonfuls of food. For Toby, consistency in medication is key, making it essential for him to find a home where someone can ensure his epilepsy remains well controlled.   With his playful spirit, cuddly nature, and resilient heart, Toby is ready to fill his forever home with boundless love and endless joy!   Adoption Fee: $395  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.INTERESTED IN MEETING ME? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Say hi to Lulu! Lulu was resuced from a shelter in Tennessee, the day she was to be euthanized - shelter workers said they knew her original owner and that they mistreated her. Lulu is approx 8 years old and around 30 lbs. She’s very friendly, good with other dogs, good with cats. She’s affectionate, sweet, and friendly. We would recommend older children (or no children) for her because she can get touchy about her face being messed with- she can snap in fear if she doesn’t like how her face/neck/upper body is approached, or it's too quick for her. Lulu can come to us from TN, as long as we have a foster (or foster-to-adopt!) home for her. She could arrive on March 29th.... IF we have a place for her to land! Apply on our website ( https://www.healingheartsrescue.org/adopt )  to  set up a private meeting or check below for my adoption event schedule.   Age: 6 years old Weight: 33 lbs Dog friendly: Best in a home without other dogs. Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: No, respectful kids over 12 are ok. Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Hi, I'm Lola, and I'm looking for my perfect Forever home. I am eager to please, obedient and completely potty trained. I do fine free roaming the house if you leave, but also does well in my kennel, especially if you cover it entirely with a blanket. I LOVE tennis balls, tug of war, and long stuffed toys that I can flop around. At night I snuggle up with Foster Mama in her bed, and I sleep quietly through the night. I can also sleep in my kennel, if you don't like company in your bed.  I love being outside, using my Beagle nose to explore the yard and the fence line, so a fenced yard would be so great for me! I am mostly a loving couch potato, but Foster Mama says exercise would be good since I could lose a few more pounds. I do like to let Foster Mama know in my Beagle voice when there are other doggos and people outside, so shared walls may not be the best for me.  Little kids do make me nervous, so I need a home with grown-up humans only or with very respectful older kids. I lived with a male beagle for the first years of my life, but I had a few conflicts with female dogs in my foster home, so everyone thinks a home without other dogs is might be best for me now. Overall, I am a happy, calm girl who likes routine and a quieter home  - will you give me all the loves forever?
