Story
Meet Bowie!! Born in October 2020, he is the definition of joy in a furry package. He&#39s incredibly sweet, loving, and always greets you with a full body wiggle (yes, butt wiggle included!) Looking for a personality? He is friendly with all and a social butterfly. Bowie adores his canine and feline friends and has perfect manners with children. He&#39s happiest when included--whether it&#39s hanging out with other dogs or spending time with his people. Bowie is easy going, calm and adaptable. Bowie&#39s favorite things include walks & car rides: Just don&#39t say the words unless you&#39re ready--his little feet will start tippy tapping in excitement! Belly rubs are Bowie&#39s ultimate love language and while not overly food motivated, he enjoys snacks and knows how to sit and stay. The best thing about Bowie is simple, he&#39s just happy to be included. His cheerful spirit, gentle nature, and love for companionship make him the perfect addition to any family!! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Bowie is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRMDecember 15, 2025, 11:17 am

Story
Victoria is 100% Border Collie per her DNA test results. She is 3 years old and weighs around 35 pounds. She loves to cuddle even if it&#39s awkward and clumsy sometimes Victoria is dog friendly. She is wary of new things, but just needs a loving/guiding person to let her know everything is okay and safe. Victoria would do best in a calm home with no children. Victoria is crate and house trained. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). Story
🐾 Loving 1-Year-Old Pup Looking for the Perfect Home! 🏡 Meet our sweet and energetic 1-year-old dog! He’s extremely playful, full of personality, and absolutely adorable. He’s still learning the ropes, so he’s not fully trained yet, but he’s eager, curious, and loves to explore. What He Needs: • A big backyard where he can run, play, and burn off all that youthful energy • A patient, committed owner who is ready to train, guide, and love him • Someone willing to help him adjust, as he’s still new to the world and learning every day We’re not sure yet how he does with other dogs, so a proper introduction or a home where he can be the only pet (at least for now) may be best. He will only go to a home that is a great fit for him—his happiness and well-being are our top priority. If you think you can offer him the loving, active home he deserves, please reach out! 🐶❤️

Story
🖤 Meet Lulu: A Loyal and Loving Smartypants Wrapped in the Softest Fur Lulu is a beautiful Border Collie mix (we think with McNab) with soulful eyes, a brilliant mind, and the softest, most huggable furry coat. She loves to be part of your world and is eager to please. She’s wonderfully dog-friendly, respectful with kitties, and great with kiddos. Lulu is energetic and curious, She loves exploring the yard, sniffing out adventures, and keeping an eye on things—she’s a fantastic little guard dog who takes her job seriously (but never aggressively). - 🧠 Incredibly smart and eager to learn - 🐾 Gets along with dogs and cats - 🚗 Rides calmly in the car and settles in a crate with gentle encouragement - 🛁 Not a fan of baths, but adores being brushed - 🍽️ Mealtime is the BEST time —she’ll never let you forget dinner 😉 - 👧 Gentle and sweet with children Lulu is potty trained and thrives in a home where she can be included, active, and cherished. She’s looking for a family who’ll appreciate her loyalty, her playfulness, and her snuggly side. Lulu’s the kind of dog who’ll make you wonder how you ever lived without her, and she's just waiting to meet you. ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://iamdogrescue.org/adoption-application/ ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.
