Unfortunately, his life took a turn when his owners were displaced, and he found himself living under a car for a long time. But even after enduring such hardship, Rex’s sweet nature has never wavered. Rex is a 40-pound boy who walks beautifully on a leash, goes into his kennel without a fuss, and has a calm, quiet demeanor. He’s friendly with everyone he meets, making him a remarkable companion for anyone looking for a loyal friend. He’s also the perfect size—not too big to be in the way, but just right to snuggle up with you on the couch. While Rex has tested positive for heartworms, he’s scheduled to start treatment in November, with his final injections set for December. During this time, Rex will need a calm environment, but with his laid-back personality, this should be no problem at all. We’re committed to helping Rex find a loving home where he can experience the comfort and care he deserves. We have had Oliver since he was just weeks old and he has always been such a loving pup. He was given to my daughter by a friend. He has always been an indoor dog and he was potty trained pretty easily. He is great with children, as long as we had him never had issues with him. He loves attention and for people to pet him. He is not a barker, only when he wants to get someone's attention or when he really needs to go potty. He has been around dogs but gets a bit nervous with bigger dogs. Although we marked him as a border collie, because that is what his paperwork says, he is mixed with another breed, not sure what it is. Our family loves Oliver, we are just in a different season in life and our family situation has changed. Our schedules have gotten pretty busy and my daughter has gone off to college. We have tried everything we can but we are at a point where we feel like he needs to be with someone who can attend to him and give him the love and care that he deserves.

Hi! I'm Kirby! I'm an approximately 3 year old, male, Border Collie mix weighing about 52 Lbs. I was surrendered on 09/06/2024 because I was not getting along with the baby in the home. I will need a family who has time and patience to provide me training to be the best pet I can be. I am suggested in a home with children 5 years old and up. I get along well with dogs, but a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, and basic boosters to date. I did test positive for heartworms but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, I will be able to receive treatment. Let's Help Make His Wish Come True! Wishbone is an adorable male pup, most similar to his mother (Birdie) in size & markings. He'll be a medium size dog, sturdy but light. He was the smallest in his litter of four. His fur is turning out to be medium length. We believe there's border collie & cattle dog in their breed mix.. with a lot of cuteness sprinkled in! Wishbone was rescued at Thanksgiving along with his mama dog and littermates. He prefers to grab on to you like a rock climber when he is held, rather than melting in your arms or lap... but he will sit with you for hours.💛 He's not the most confident dog & will benefit from having a canine companion, as well as lots of attention from his humans. Panda is almost 2 years old. We found him and 2 others on the side of the road when they were about 3 months old. We took them in to foster for a short time to ensure that they were healthy and loved while the shelters were full. We are hoping to get him to a home where he will be able to run around, get his energy out and explore. He is very sweet, playful and loves attention and being pet. He gets along well with dogs and cats. He is also good around children. Panda has never been a single pet in a household so we are not sure how he will do as a solo pet. He is up to date on shots and does well at the boarding facility with other animals. Loves: -playing in water -getting toys out of the bin -getting treats for doing tasks -observing you cook -being on a schedule Dislikes: -eating around others
